Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini ialah ketidakmampuan siswa kelas IV SDLB dalam kemampuan memori semantik lingkup mengenal hewan darat dan karakteristik khususnya. Penelitian ini mengujicobakan suatu metode pembelajaran yaitu metode bernyanyi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode bernyanyi terhadap kemampuan memori semantik siswa tunagrahita ringan. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif eksperimen SSR (Single Subject Research) dengan menggunakan desain penelitian A-B-A. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa tunagrahita ringan kelas IV SDLB di SLB BC YKS 1 Majalaya. Hasil penelitian pada fase baseline-1, subjek mendapatkan skor dengan persentase sebesar 15%, dan meningkat setelah diberikan intervensi dengan mendapat skor 80% . Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa metode bernyanyi dapat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan memori semantik pada siswa tunagrahita ringan. The main focus of this research is the inability of 4th grade student in semantic memory ability in the scope of recognizing land animals and their characteristics. This research experimented a learning method, namely the singing method. The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of singing method on semantic memory ability of student with mild intellectually disabled. This type of research is a quantitative SSR (Single Subject Research) experiment using the A-B-A research design. The research subjects were students with mild impairment in class IV at SLB BC YKS 1 Majalaya. The results of the research in the baseline-1 phase, the subject got a score with a percentage of 15%, and increased after being given an intervention with a score of 80% . This research shows the results that the singing method can have an impact on improving semantic memory skills in mild intellectually disabled student.
