    Abstract

    Saat pembelajaran di kelas siswa cenderung rendah dalam partisipasi aktif dan
    guru lebih menjadi sentral disana. Tidak adanya interaksi aktif antar siswa, juga
    tidak diberikannya tanggung jawab dan kerja sama dalam pembelajaran,
    menyadarkan pendidik bahwa model atau metode yang digunakannya monoton
    sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya keaktifan dan rasa antusias siswa saat KBM
    IPS dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran lain sehingga KKM (Kriteria
    Ketuntasan Minimal) yang diperoleh pun rendah dan tidak mencapai batas yang
    telah ditentukan yakni untuk pelajaran IPS KKMnya adalah 70. Selain KKM
    yang menjadi patokan lulus belum tercapai, IPHB (Indikator Pencapaian Hasil
    Belajar) siswa untuk pelajaran IPS disana juga masih belum mumpuni.
    Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses penerapan model kooperatif
    learning tipe TGT (Team Games Tournament) sebagai upaya meningkatkan
    aktivitas hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada pembelajaran IPS di SD Negeri
    Bojong. Pendekatan yang digunakan oleh peneliti dalam penelitian ini yaitu
    pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian Penelitian Tindakan Kelas
    (PTK). Adapun subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa-siswi kelas IV SD Negeri
    Bojong. Untuk mendapatkan data, peneliti memakai teknik observasi, angket,
    tes dan dokumentasi. Peneliti melaksanakan penelitian melalui tahapan pra
    siklus, siklus I dan Siklus II yang dilaksanakan pada kelas IV SD Negeri
    Bojong. Setelah dilaksanakan tindakan penelitian penerapan model Team
    Games Tournament (TGT) pada pembelajaran IPS bahwa dapat ditarik
    kesimpulan bahwa hal tersebut dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa.

    When learning in class students tend to be low in active participation and the
    teacher becomes more central there. The absence of active interaction between
    students, as well as not being given responsibility and cooperation in learning,
    makes educators aware that the model or method they use is monotonous, causing
    low activity and enthusiasm of students when teaching social studies teaching
    compared to other learning so that the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria)
    is The results obtained were also low and did not reach the predetermined limit,
    namely for IPS subjects the KKM was 70. In addition to the KKM which became
    the benchmark for passing had not been reached, the IPHB (Indicator of Learning
    Achievement Achievement) for IPS subjects there were also not qualified. This
    study aims to describe the process of implementing the TGT (Team Games
    Tournament) cooperative learning model as an effort to increase the activity of
    fourth grade students' learning outcomes in social studies at SD Negeri Bojong.
    The approach used by researchers in this study is a qualitative approach with
    Classroom Action Research (PTK) research methods. The research subjects were
    fourth grade students at SD Negeri Bojong. To obtain data, researchers used
    observation techniques, questionnaires, tests and documentation. The researcher
    carried out the research through the stages of pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II which
    were carried out in class IV of SD Negeri Bojong. After carrying out action
    research on the application of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model to
    Social Studies learning, it can be concluded that this can increase student learning
    activities.
