Abstract
Penguasaan pemahaman konsep bilangan pada anak tunagrahita ringan yang
ditemukan di lapangan menunjukkan persentase yang kecil. Hal ini dikarenakan
subjek hanya mampu membilang angka tanpa mampu memahami konsep dari
setiap angka yang disebut, dengan demikian dalam penelitian ini diterapkan media
kantong bilangan dalam proses pembelajarannya. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam
penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tentang penggunaan media
kantong bilangan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan memahami konsep bilangan 1-
10. Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen Single Subject
Research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah satu orang
siswa tunagrahita ringan kelas II SDLB di SPLB C YPLB Bandung. Instrumen yang
digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan
bahwa kemampuan subjek dalam memahami konsep bilangan 1-10 mengalami
peningkatan.
Mastery comprehension of the concept of numerals in children with mild
Intellectual Developmental Disability that had been found in the field shows a small
percentage. Furthermore, the subject is only capable to count numbers without
being able to understand the concept of each number called, thus in this study the
media of the pocket numeral is applied in the learning process. The goal to be
achieved in this study is to know an overview of the use of numeral pocket media in
improving the ability to recognize the concept of numbers 1-10. This type of
research is quantitative research on Single Subject Research (SSR) experiments
with A-B-A designs. The subjects of this study were one student with mild IDD in
grade II SDLB at SPLB C YPLB Bandung. . The instrument used in this study was
in the form of a test. The results of this study show that the subject's ability to
understand the concept of numbers 1-10 has increased. Mastery of the concept of
numerals in children with mild IDD found in the field shows a small percentage.
This is because the subject is only able to count numbers without being able to
understand the concept of each number called, thus in this study the media of
numeral pockets is applied in the learning process. The goal to be achieved in this
study is to find out an overview of the use of number pocket media in improving the
ability to recognize the concept of numbers 1-10. This type of research is
quantitative research on Single Subject Research (SSR) experiments with A-B-A
designs. The subjects of this study were one student with mild mental impairment
in grade III SDLB at SPLB C YPLB Bandung. The instrument used in this study was
in the form of a test. The results of this study show that the subject's ability to
understand the concept of numbers 1-10 has increased.
