Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian dilatarbelakangi karena melemahnya pola pikir masyarakat mengenai jati diri atau identitas bangsa serta kerap terjadinya konflik antar budaya di tengah era globalisasi tidak dapat terus menerus diabaikan. Identitas primordial yang menjadi pemicu konflik di satu sisi penting untuk terus dikembangkan seiringan dengan sikap bangga terhadap kehidupan bangsa yang berkebhinekaan karena identitas kedaerahan atau primordial ini berperan penting dalam mempertahankan keragaman dan kekhasan bangsa. Pemerintah dalam hal ini Kemendikbud-Ristek mencetuskan karakter berkebhinekaan global sebagai salah satu karakter yang diharapkan dapat menjawab persoalan di atas. Mata pelajaran PPKn memiliki peran penting dalam pembentukkan karakter tersebut, sehingga diperlukan pengembangan suatu model pembelajaran yang dapat mengarahkan siswa dalam membentuk karakter berkebhinekaan global. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran role playing yang di dalamnya terinternalisasikan nilai toleransi, mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, efektivitas, kendala yang muncul serta upaya untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods dengan metode studi kasus dan kuasi eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah dengan kuisoner, observasi, studi literatur serta dokumentasi. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis statistik parametrik non-parametrik dan member check. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap perencanaan dilakukan dengan menyusun perangkat pembelajaran seperti RPP, silabus, media serta materi pelajaran, mengembangkan model pembelajaran role playing yang akan digunakan, menyiapkan insturmen evaluasi dan lembar observasi. Adapun tahap pelaksanaan dilaksanakan meliputi tiga kegiatan, yaitu kegiatan pendahuluan, inti dan penutup. Internalisasi nilai toleransi pada model pembelajaran role playing berdasarkan hasil penelitian dinyatakan efektif dalam mengembangkan karakter berkebhinekaan global siswa. Internalization of Tolerance Values in Role Playing Learning Models in Developing Students' Global Diversity Character (Quasi-Experimental Research on Class XI Students of MAN 1 Kabupaten Sukabumi) Abstract: This research is motivated by the weakening of people's mindsets regarding national identity and the frequent occurrence of intercultural conflicts in the era of globalization cannot be ignored continuously. Primordial identity that triggers conflict on the one hand is important to continue to be developed along with a proud attitude towards the life of a nation that is diverse because this regional or primordial identity plays an important role in maintaining the diversity and uniqueness of the nation. The government, in this case the Ministry of Education and Culture and Research and Technology, has initiated the character of global diversity as one of the characters that is expected to be able to answer the above problems. Civics subjects have an important role in the formation of these characters, so it is necessary to develop a learning model that can direct students in shaping the character of global diversity. The purpose of this research is to develop a role-playing learning model in which the value of tolerance is internalized, starting from planning, implementation, effectiveness, obstacles that arise and efforts to overcome these obstacles. The approach in this study uses mixed methods approach with case study and a quasi-experimental method. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, observations, literature studies and documentation. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using parametric non-parametric analysis techniques and member checks. The results of this study indicate that at the planning stage, it is done by compiling learning tools such as lesson plans, syllabus, media and subject matter, developing a role-playing learning model that will be used, preparing evaluation instruments and observation sheets. The implementation phase includes three activities, namely preliminary, core and closing activities. Internalization of the value of tolerance in the role-playing learning model based on the results of the study was declared effective in developing students' global diverse character.
