Abstract

Kata Kunci: Resiliensi, KDRT, Keutuhan Keluarga Domestic violence is a phenomenon that occurs in various cities, including DKI Jakarta. Based on the report from LBH APIK Jakarta in 2021 there were 1,321 complaints that it handled. During the previous year's record, LBH APIK Jakarta said that domestic violence was the highest reported case. Although violence does not see gender, the victim is dominated by the wife. The PKDRT Law allows wives who have experienced violence to separate from their husbands, but many wives of domestic violence victims do not take their cases to court. They choose to keep the family together rather than divorce. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach to the case study method. The results state that: (1) forms of violence against wives are dominated by physical and psychological violence caused by economic problems, infidelity, and differences of opinion; (2) Violence has a very serious impact on their roles as mothers and members of the community, such as withdrawing from the social environment, not focusing on taking care of children, but once they continue to carry out their roles as wives by fulfilling the biological and social needs of their husbands; (3) The resilience factor of the victim's wife to maintain the integrity of her family is based on factors such as children, feelings (still loving her husband), negative societal stigma about divorced women, economy, spirituality, and the social support provided by the victim's closest relatives; (4) the strategy taken by the victim is in the form of correcting the mistakes that were previously made, namely choosing to hold back emotions by not always replying to her husband's words when in a fight, telling her complaints to related institutions such as UPT P2TP2A or closest relatives.
