Abstract

Media pembelajaran di sekolah telah memberikan nilai tambah dalam proses belajar mengajar salah satunya adalah media pembelajaran komik yang bisa dikatakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang cukup baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan media pembelajaran komik berbasis science edutainment yang dapat meningkatkan literasi lingkungan dan literasi teknologi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE). Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, angket dan tes. Data tersebut kemudian diolah untuk menganalisis peningkatan literasi lingkungan dan literasi teknologi siswa pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Swasta di Kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes literasi lingkungan dan literasi teknologi. Data dianalisis dari data primer dan sekunder berupa penilaian ahli materi dan ahli media, tanggapan siswa. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh: Pertama karakteristik media pembelajaran komik media ini menampilkan gambar dan warna yang menarik, serta karakter yang unik selain itu terdapat tambahan video didalamnya berbentuk aplikasi android (apk). Kedua terdapat peningkatan literasi lingkungan siswa sesudah menggunakan media pembelajaran komik konsep science edutainment dengan nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest literasi lingkungan memperoleh 85,15 berdasarkan kategori N-gain terhadap peningkatan literasi lingkungan kelas eksperimen dengan perolehan persentase sebesar 71% sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 61%. Ketiga terdapat peningkatan literasi teknologi siswa sesudah menggunakan media pembelajaran komik konsep science edutainment dengan nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest literasi teknologi memperoleh 82,91 berdasarkan kategori N-gain terhadap peningkatan literasi teknologi kelas eksperimen dengan perolehan persentase sebesar 78,1% sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 59,3%. Keempat tanggapan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran komik konsep science edutainment berorentasi literasi lingkungan dan literasi teknologi pada pokok bahasan pencemaran lingkungan secara keseluruhan menunjukkan respon positif. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran komik konsep science edutainment memiliki pengaruh dalam upaya meningkatkan literasi lingkungan dan literasi teknologi siswa. Learning media in schools have provided added value in the teaching and learning process, one of which is comics learning media which can be said to be a fairly good learning medium. The purpose of this research is to produce comics learning media based on science edutainment that can improve students' environmental literacy and technological literacy. This study uses the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) development model. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires and tests. The data is then processed to analyze the increase in environmental literacy and technological literacy of students on environmental pollution materials. The subjects in this study were seventh grade students of private junior high schools in the city of Bandung. The instrument used for data collection in this study was a test of environmental literacy and technological literacy. Data were analyzed from primary and secondary data in the form of material expert and media expert assessments, student responses. The results obtained: First, the characteristics of the comics learning media. This media displays attractive images and colors, as well as unique characters, besides that there are additional videos in it in the form of an android application (apk). Second, there is an increase in students' environmental literacy after using the science edutainment concept comic learning media with an average value of pretest and posttest environmental literacy obtaining 85.15 based on the N-gain category for increasing environmental literacy in the experimental class with a percentage gain of 71% while for the control class it is 61%. Third, there is an increase in students' technological literacy after using the science edutainment concept comic learning media with an average value of pretest and posttest of technological literacy obtaining 82.91 based on the N-gain category for increasing technological literacy in the experimental class with a percentage gain of 78.1% while for the class control by 59.3%. The four student responses to the science edutainment concept comic learning media oriented towards environmental literacy and technological literacy on the subject of environmental pollution as a whole showed a positive response. Thus it can be concluded that the science edutainment concept comic learning media has an influence in efforts to improve students' environmental literacy and technological literacy.
