Abstract

Analisis kebutuhan menyatakan bahwa bahan ajar yang digunakan di sekolah masih bersifat umum dan belum menyisipkan aspek Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Oleh karena itu penting untuk mengembangkan e-modul bermuatan ESD dalam upaya mendukung keterampilan abad 21 dan memberikan signifikansi dalam pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul IPA bermuatan (ESD) tema makanan fermentasi tradisional Indonesia untuk membangun keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan kesadaran berkelanjutan siswa. Pengembangan e-modul dilaksanakan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and evaluation) dan diimplementasikan dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-postest design pada siswa kelas IX SMP di salah satu sekolah di Rejang lebong, Provinsi Bengkulu. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil yaitu 1) E-modul yang dikembangkan memiliki karakteristik yang mencerminkan aspek ESD, keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan kesadaran berkelanjutan, 2) Validitas e-modul terhadap pemetaan aspek ESD, keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan kesadaran berkelanjutan memperoleh kategori valid dan, validitas e-modul dari tampilan media memperoleh kategori valid, sehingga dapat diimplementasikan sebagai salah satu sumber belajar dalam pembelajaran IPA 3) E-modul dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dengan N-Gain sebesar 0.71 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, 4) Penggunaan e-modul tergolong masih rendah dalam meningkatkan kesadaran berkelanjutan siswa. Kata kunci: E-Modul, ESD, Karakteristik E-modul, Validitas E-modul, Keterampilan Berpikir kreatif, Kesadaran Berkelanjutan A needs analysis states that the teaching materials used in schools are still general and have not included aspects of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Therefore, it is important to develop ESD-containing e-module in an effort to support 21st century skills and provide significance in science learning. This study aims to develop an ESD-containing e-module of traditional Indonesian fermented food to build students’ creative thinking skills and sustainability awareness. The development of the e-module was carried out with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and evaluation) and was implemented with a one group pretest-posttest design for grade IX students of junior high school in one of the schools in Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu Province. Based on data analysis, the results obtained are 1) The developed E-module has characteristics that reflect ESD aspects, creative thinking skills and sustainability awareness 2) The validity of the e-module on mapping aspects of ESD, creative thinking skills and sustainability awareness obtained a valid category and, the validity of the e-module from the media display obtained a valid category, so that it could be implemented as a learning resource in science learning, 3) E-module can improve creative thinking skills with score N-Gain of 0.71 which is included in the high category, 4) The use of e-modules is still low in increasing students' sustainability awareness.
