Abstract
Penelitian ini bertolak dari implementasi program Studi Independen yang merupakan salah satu bagian dari MBKM yang digulirkan pemerintah, yang mana program ini memberikan pengaruh positif bagi pengembangan kompetensi mahasiswa mengikutinya. Efektivitas merupakan unsur pokok untuk mencapai suatu tujuan atau sasaran yang telah ditentukan didalam suatu organisasi, kegiatan ataupun program. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui (1) perencanaan kebijakan Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka di FIP UPI (2) efektivitas pelaksaan program Studi Independen di FIP UPI (3) kendala dalam pelaksanaan program Studi Independen di FIP UPI. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kebijakan MBKM di FIP UPI sudah mengikuti semua arahan dan kebijakan yang berlaku sesuai buku pedoman MBKM. Dalam sisi sasaran program masih belum tepat sasaran, karena kebijakan MBKM bahwa mahasiswa semester 4 sudah bisa mengikuti program sedangkan dipedoman universitas bagi semester 6. Terkait sosialisasi program, masih belum dilaksanakan secara menyeluruh, karena mahasiswa merasakan tidak adanya informasi atau sosialisasi terkait program. Terkait segi pemantauan masih belum maksimal, karena pemantauan yang dilakukan oleh DPL tidak secara rutin dan tanpa instrumen evaluasi yang digunakan. Adapun kendala yang terjadi yaitu terkait konversi 20 SKS yang beberapa prodi masih memberlakukan syarat khusus untuk mahasiswa yang ingin melakukan konversi SKS, dan juga masih terjadinya miskomunikasi antara DPL, mahasiswa dan mitra. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya kebijakan dan pedoman dari Fakultas kepada setiap prodi terkait penyesuaian pelaksanaan program Studi Independen. Kata Kunci: Efektivitas, MBKM, MSIB. ABSTRACT EFFECTIVENESS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF INDEPENDENT STUDY PROGRAM IN THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION IN INDONESIA by Dea Almira This research departs from the implementation of the Independent Study program which is one part of the MBKM launched by the government, where this program has a positive influence on developing the competence of students who follow it. Effectiveness is the main element to achieve a predetermined goal or target in an organization, activity or program. The purpose of the study was to find out (1) the planning of the Independent Study program at FIP UPI (2) the effectiveness of the implementation of the Independent Study program at the FIP UPI (3) the obstacles in the implementation of the Independent Study program at the FIP UPI. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation studies. The result of this research is that the MBKM policy at FIP UPI has followed all applicable directions and policies in accordance with the MBKM guidebook. In terms of program targets, it is still not right on target, because MBKM's policy is that 4th semester students can join the program, while the university's guidelines are for 6th semester. The issue of program socialization has not been carried out thoroughly, because students feel that there is no information or socialization related to the program. In terms of monitoring, it is still not optimal, because the monitoring carried out by DPL is not routine and without evaluation instruments used. Obstacles that occur related to the conversion of 20 credits, some study programs still impose special requirements for students who want to convert credits, and also there is still miscommunication between DPL, students and partners. Therefore, it is necessary to have policies and guidelines from the Faculty for each study program related to the adjustment of the implementation of the Independent Study program.
