Abstract

Steganografi adalah ilmu dan seni menyembunyikan pesan rahasia sedemikian sehingga keberadaan pesan tidak terdeteksi oleh indera manusia. Dalam penelitian ini di jelaskan cara penyisipan metode Steganografi Least Significant Bit (LSB) dan Metode Bit-Plane Complexity Segmentation (BPCS) serta perbandingan kedua metode tersebut terhadap parameter Fidelity, robustness, recovery dan kecocokannya terhadap citra PNG. Perbandingan faktor Fidelity dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan stego-image hasil pengeluaran kedua program yang mewakili tiap metode dengan cover-imagenya. Perbandingan faktor robustness dilakukan dengan cara memanipulasi stego-image. Perbandingan recovery dilakukan dengan cara mengungkap kembali stego-image yang termanipulasi. Sedangkan kecocokan terhadap file PNG dilihat dari tingkat Fidelity kedua metode dengan memanfaatkan cover-image citra PNG format index color, grayscale dan true color. Dari hasil perbandingan tersebut diperoleh bahwa tingkat Fidelity, robustness, dan recovery metode LSB lebih baik dibandingkan dengan metode BPCS. Namun dalam analisis kapasitas daya tampung metode BPCS lebih unggul dibandingkan metode LSB. Format citra PNG true color tanpa transparansi merupakan format citra yang paling cocok digunakan kedua metode. Kata Kunci: Steganografi, LSB, BPCS Steganography is the science and art of hiding a secret messagesuch that the existence of the message is not detected by human senses. In this study described how the insertion of steganographic methods Least Significant Bit (LSB) and Bit-Plane Complexity Segmentation (BPCS) and the comparison of the two methods for parameter Fidelity, robustness, recovery and suitability of the PNG image. Fidelity factor comparison is done by comparing the results of the stego-image both spending programs that represent each method with the cover-image. Robustness factor comparison is done by manipulating the stego-image. Comparison of recovery is done by re-uncovering stego-image. While the match against PNG files Fidelity seen from the two methods by using the cover-image PNG with image format index color,grayscale and true color. The comparison of the results obtained that level of Fidelity, robustness, and recovery LSB method is better than the method of BPCS. But the accommodating capacity analysis BPCS method is superior to the method LSB. True color PNG image format without transparency is the most suitable image format used both methods.
