Abstract

ABSTRAK Model Pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk pembelajaran menulis puisi pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) belum berkembang dengan baik bisa dilihat dari hasil tulisan puisi yang ditulis siswa masih kaku dan belum ekspresif terutama dalam mengungkapkan ide-ide, daya imajinasi, perasaan dan pengalaman mereka. Selain itu, puisi yang ditulis siswa masih sederhana karena tidak memuat secara utuh unsur-unsur puisi dan ciri jenis puisi. Hal ini karena model pembelajaran terdahulu masih kurang efektif untuk menyampaikan pembelajaran menulis puisi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, perlu adanya metode pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran menulis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memecahkan permasalahan tersebut. Salah satunya dengan cara menemukembangkan model suggestopedia berbantuan media film tematik dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Peneliti berharap dengan penelitian ini bisa menjawab permasalahan dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah model suggestopedia berbantuan media film tematik dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa dan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif. Hal ini dilihat dari tulisan puisi siswa yangsudah meningkat dan mencapai nilai Kriteria Kelulusan Minimal. Penelitian ini sejalan dengan penelitian terdahulu yang menunjukan bahwa model suggestopedia dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi sesuai dengan unsur-unsur pembangun puisi. Peneliti berharap hasil penelitian ini memberikan sumbangsih terhadap pembelajaran siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) terutama dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi. In addition, the poetry written by students is still simple because it does not fully contain the elements of poetry and the characteristics of the type of poetry. This is because the previous learning model is still less effective in delivering poetry writing lessons. Based on this, it is necessary to have learning methods and writing learning media to improve students' poetry writing skills. The purpose of this research is to solve these problems. One of them is by developing a suggestopedia model assisted by thematic film media in learning to write poetry. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods. The researcher hopes that this research can answer the problems in learning to write poetry. The result of this research is suggestopedia model assisted by thematic film media in learning to write poetry to improve students' poetry writing skills and make learning more effective. This can be seen from the students' poetry writings that have increased and achieved the Minimum Graduation Criteria score. This research is in line with previous research which shows that the suggestopedia model can improve poetry writing skills in accordance with the building blocks of poetry. The researcher hopes that the results of this study will contribute to the learning of high school students, especially in learning to write poetry.
