Abstract
The culture that exists in an area has local wisdom values that guide the behavior of its people. These local wisdom values are the control for certain community behavior. Local wisdom as a local cultural value can lead to individual intelligence from the life of a local community. Values that can be used in everyday life and can be used as a source of social studies learning, these values are: 1) Religious Values 2) Gotong Royong Values 3) Aesthetic Values. In essence, the Indonesian people have a diversity of cultures and different backgrounds of local wisdom. Diversity of customs, beliefs and habits that have been embedded in them. For that, it requires effort and cooperation between the government and local communities in developing. This study aims to 1) Describe the love of local culture in Cileunyi District for Reak Arts 2) Analyze local cultural values of Reak Art which can be developed as a social science learning resource 3) Knowing the efforts to foster a love for local culture in Reak Art performances as Social Studies Learning Resources. This research uses descriptive narrative method. The results of this study indicate that 1) that local wisdom as a local cultural value can lead to individual intelligence from the life of a local community. 2) the general conception of an organized life and influencing behavior related to nature, human position with natural causes, human relations about things that are desired with things that are not desired with regard to fellow humans and the environment. 3) that modernity and capitalism are obstacles that affect the existence of local wisdom to survive in society. 4) that environmental conditions are very influential on the learning process. Every student wants a comfortable environment that can be used as a social science learning resource just like Reak as a social science learning resource.
