Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji pada penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kompetensi
siswa pada mata pelajaran OTK Sarana dan Prasarana jurusan Otomatisasi dan Tata
Kelola Perkantoran. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari rata-rata hasil ujian akhir sekolah
yang belum mencapai KKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran
efektivitas model pembelajaran teaching factory, tingkat kompetensi siswa, dan
untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh model pembelajaran teaching factory
terhadap kompetensi siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode
survei eksplanasi dengan angket sebagai teknik untuk mengumpulkan data.
Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 39 siswa kelas XI OTKP 1 di SMK Bina
Wisata Lembang. Data pada peneltitan ini dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis
data deskripsi dan teknik analisis data inferensial. Hasil analisis data deskriptif
menunjukan bahwa gambaran efektivitas model pembelajaran teaching factory
berada pada kategori cukup efektif dan gambaran tingkat kompetensi siswa berada
pada kategori sedang. Sedangkan hasil analisis data inferensial menunjukan bahwa
terdapat pengaruh positif model pembelajaran teaching factory terhadap
kompetensi siswa dengan kategori kuat. Maka dari itu kompetensi siswa dapat
ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan efektivitas model pembelajaran teaching factory.

The problem studied in this research is the low competence of students in
Automation Subjects of Facilities and Infrastructure majoring in Automation and
Office Governance. This can be seen from the average final exam results of schools
that have not reached KKM. This study aims to know the effectiveness of teaching
factory learning models, the level of competence of students, and to know whether
or not the influence of teaching factory learning models is limited to student
competence. The research method used is the method of explantation survey with
questionnaires as a technique to collect data. Respondents to this study numbered
39 students of grade XI OTKP 1 at SMK Bina Wisata Lembang. The data in this
study was analyzed using description data analysis techniques and inferential data
analysis techniques. The results of descriptive data analysis show that the picture
of the effectiveness of teaching factory learning model is in the category of quite
effective and the description of the level of competence of students is in the
moderate category. While the results of inferential data analysis show that there is
a positive influence of the teaching factory learning model on the competence of
students with strong categories. Therefore, students' competence can be improved
by improving the effectiveness of teaching factory learning models.
