    Abstract

    ABSTRAK
    Padepokan Kesenian wayang golek Giri Harja di Jelekong merupakan wadah untuk kegiatan, pelestarian dan pengembangan kebudayaan sunda khususnya wayang golek yang diperuntukan bagi para masyarakat khususnya para penggiat budaya, dimana mereka dapat mengembangkan pemikiran dan ide kreatif mengenai pengembangan kebudayaan sunda khususnya wayang golek. Seperti diketahui bahwa arsitektur tradisonal adalah buah karya manusia yang sarat akan konsep budaya dan filosofinya.
    Sebuah bangunan kebudayaan pada umumnya mencerminkan budaya lokal, namun untuk menarik minat para masyarakat khususnya anak muda, maka dari itu harus dikemas dalam kemasan yang lebih fresh, untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut maka bangunan ini di lakukan peremajaan dimana dalam pendekatan dan penerapan elemen arsitektur tradisional sunda.

    ABSTRACT
    Padepokan Kesenian Wayang Golek Giri Harja in Jelekong is a place for activities, preservation, and culture development for Sundanese culture, especially wayang golek which is intended for community, especially cultural activists, where they can develop creative thoughts and ideas about the development of Sundanese culture. As is known that traditional architecture is the creation of human works that are loaded with cultural concepts and philosophies.
    A cultural building generally reflects the local culture, but to attract the interest of the community, especially young people, therefore, it should be packaged as more fresh. To reach the goals, this building is rejuvenated with the approach and application of traditional sundanese architectural elements.
