Abstract
Judul penelitian ini adalah Pertunjukan Kesenian Terbangan Pada Acara Maulid Nabi di Kampung Godebag Kecamatan Pagerageung Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, yang mengkaji permasalahan tentang bagaimana struktur pertunjukan dan fungsi pertunjukannya. Temuannya mengenai struktur pertunjukan seni yang terbagi kedalam tiga bagian meliputi bagian awal, bagian isi, dan bagian penutup, sedangkan fungsi seni diklasifikasikan menjadi fungsi primer yaitu sebagai sarana ritual, ungkapan pribadi dan presentasi estetis. Penelitian ini digali melalui metode deskriptif kualitatif, ini bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan yang diajukan lewat data yang dikumpulkan. Kata kunci: pertunjukan, Terbangan. The title of this research is Performing Arts at the Prophet's Birthday Event in Godebag Village, Pagerageung District, Tasikmalaya Regency, which examines the problem of how the structure of the performance and the function of the show. His findings regarding the structure of performing arts are divided into three parts including the beginning, content, and closing, while the function of art is classified into primary functions, namely as a means of ritual, personal expression and aesthetic presentation. This research was explored through a qualitative descriptive method, it aims to answer the problems posed through the data collected. Key words: performance, Terbangan.
