Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Komunikasi Organisasi Formal Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai di Biro SDM Setjen Kemendikbud”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran komunikasi organisasi formal, kinerja pegawai, dan juga pengaruh komunikasi organisasi formal terhadap kinerja pegawai di Biro SDM Setjen Kemendikbud. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Teknik Slovin dan pengambilan data menggunakan angket. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 123 pegawai dan sampel sebanyak 55 pegawai. Hasil dari penelitian ini berdasarkan pengolahan data yang dilakukan dengan perhitungan Weight Means Score menunjukan rata-rata kecenderungan umum untuk variabel Komunikasi Organisasi Formal dan Kinerja Pegawai berada dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji korelasi antara variabel X dan variabel Y diperoleh hasil positif sebesar 0,365 yang menunjukan bahwa variabel X dan variabel Y memiliki korelasi. Hasil uji signifikansi menunjukan bahwa dengan pengujian t_hitung > t_tabel (2,852 > 1,673) maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara komunikasi organisasi formal terhadap kinerja pegawai di Biro SDM Setjen Kemendikbud. This research is entitled "The Influence of Formal Organizational Communication on Employee Performance in the HR Bureau of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Education and Culture". The purpose of this study was to determine the description of formal organizational communication, employee performance, and also the effect of formal organizational communication on employee performance in the HR Bureau of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Education and Culture. This research uses descriptive method and quantitative approach. The sampling technique used is the Slovin technique and data collection using a questionnaire. The population in this study were 123 employees and a sample of 55 employees. The results of this study based on data processing carried out by calculating the Weight Means Score showed the average general trend for the variables of Formal Organizational Communication and Employee Performance in the very good category. The results of the correlation test between the X variable and Y variable obtained a positive result of 0.365 which indicates that the X variable and Y variable have a correlation. The results of the significance test show that by testing t_count > t_table (2.852 > 1.673) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive and significant influence between formal organizational communication on employee performance in the HR Bureau of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Education and Culture.
