Abstract

Suatu organisasi harus memiliki sumber daya manusia berkualitas yang tercermin pada kinerja yang dihasilkan para pegawainya, karena kinerja pegawai adalah hal yang sangat penting dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia. Ada banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai, diantaranya yaitu pengawasan dan disiplin kerja. Maka dalam penelitian ini mengkaji tiga variabel yaitu pengawasan (X), disiplin kerja (Y), dan kinerja pegawai (Z). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey, disamping itu teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert yaitu skor terentang 1 sampai 5. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 42 orang pegawai di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Subang. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pengawasan terhadap disiplin kerja, terdapat pengaruh pengawasan terhadap kinerja pegawai, terdapat pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, serta terdapat pengaruh pengawasan terhadap kinerja pegawai yang dimediasi oleh disiplin kerja di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Subang. The organization must have quality human resources which are reflected in the performance produced by its employees, because employee performance is very important in human resource management. There are many factors that affect employee performance, including supervision and work discipline. So in this study examines three variables, that is supervision (X), work discipline (Y), and employee performance (Z). The method used in this study is a survey method, besides that the data collection technique uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale, the score ranges from 1 to 5. The population in this study amounted to 42 employees at the Department of Archives and Libraries of Subang Regency. While the data analysis technique used regression analysis. The results show that there is an influence of supervision on work discipline, there is an influence of supervision on employee performance, there is an influence of work discipline on employee performance, and there is an influence of supervision on employee performance mediated by work discipline at the Archives and Library Service of Subang Regency.
