Abstract

Siswa tunarungu mengalami hambatan dalam persepsi bunyi dan irama serta hambatan dalam berkomunikasi secara lisan. Adanya alat bantu dengar dan media pembelajaran yang tepat dapat membantu siswa tunarungu mengoptimalkan sisa pendengarannya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan media CD Interaktif Pembelajaran BKPBI bagi siswa tunarungu kelas 1 SDLB-B di SLB Negeri Metro. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 6 siswa tunarungu kelas 1 SDLB-B di SLB Negeri Metro Provinsi Lampung. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Kemampuan persepsi bunyi dan irama siswa tunarungu kelas 1 SDLB-B di SLB Negeri Metro pada umumnya berada pada tahapan deteksi bunyi (2) rancangan buku panduan dan CD Interaktif Pembelajaran BKPBI disusun berdasarkan analisis data teoritik dan data empirik (3) hasil validasi menyimpulkan media dapat digunakan dengan revisi beberapa aspek (4) hasil ujicoba terbatas menunjukkan media CD Interaktif BKPBI dapat membantu guru dalam menyampaikan materi dan membuat siswa lebih antusias dalam belajar. Peneliti merekomendasikan kepada pihak sekolah agar dapat memfasilitasi pengadaaan media pembelajaran BKPBI. Kepada guru BKPBI dan siswa tunarungu agar dapat menjadikan CD Interaktif pembelajaran BKPBI sebagai alternatif pilihan media dalam pembelajaran BKPBI. Kata Kunci : CD Interaktif, Pembelajaran BKPBI, Tunarungu Hearing-impaired students experience obstacles in their ability of sound and rhythm perception as well as obstacles in the ability to communicate verbally.Using hearing aids and appropriate learning media can helf hearing-impaired students to optimize their residual hearing. This research has a purpose to develop BKPBI learning interactive CD media for hearing-impaired students of the first grade of special needs school-b at State Special Needs School Metro. This research employs qualitative approach and descriptive research method. The subjects of this research are 6 hearing-impaired students of the first grade of special needs school-b at State Special Needs School Metro which is located in Lampung province. The techniques of data collection are trough interview, observation and documentation study. The technique of data analysis employs qualitative analysis. The result of this research indicates that (1) the ability of hearing-impaired students toward sound and rhythm perception of the first grade of special needs school-b at state special needs school is generally located on the sound detection phase (2) the design of manual book and BKPBI learning interactive CD is compiled based on the result of data analysis of theoritical and empirical data (3) the result of validation concludes that the media could be used with several revision in some aspect (4) the result of limited test indicates that BKPBI interactive CD media could help teachers in conveying the subject and make the students more enthusiastic in learning. The researcher recommends to the school party to facilitate providing BKPBI learning and teaching media. The researcher also recommend to the BKPBI teachers and hearing-impaired students in order to be able to make teaching and learning interactive CD as the alternative media in the teaching and learning of BKPBI.
