    Abstract

Based Research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif.

    ABSTRACT
The purpose of writing this research is to improve the quality and effectiveness
of online vocal learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This pandemic situation
has resulted in a decrease in the quality and effectiveness of learning because it does
not go through a face-to-face process. This study uses the DBR (Design Based
Research) method with a qualitative approach. Data was collected by means of
observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. At the beginning of
the study, researchers interviewed two students to look for problems and obstacles
in vocal learning during the pandemic. From the interviews, the researchers decided
to develop a vocal learning strategy to strengthen articulation and intonation online
using Google Meet, Youtube, and Sibelius. The strategy development was applied
to two students in two meetings. Evaluation is carried out at every meeting
regarding the technical or learning process and competency assessment. As a result,
this study has positive implications as evidenced by the graph of the improvement
    of students' abilities.
