Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find data on improving students' critical thinking skills through the application of the flipped classroom model in online dance learning. This is done to overcome problems that occur in the field, namely the lack of critical thinking skills of students, especially in online dance learning due to the emergence of a pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus in Indonesia around March 2020 until it finally became an epidemic in almost all regions in Indonesia, which required All activities carried out outside the home and activities that involve a lot of interaction with other people are stopped and all Indonesian citizens must carry out quarantine in their respective homes. Likewise, teaching and learning activities in schools that are carried out in schools become online at home. Based on this, the researchers tried to apply the Flipped Classroom learning model in learning the art of dance to class VIII students at SMPN 10 Bandung. This quantitative research uses Pree-Experimental Design with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design pattern. The research data was taken from one class using purposive sampling technique. The research data was obtained from the test results given to students during the pretest and posttest. The expected result in this study is the effect of the Flipped Classroom model in improving students' critical thinking skills in online dance learning.
