Abstract

ABSTRAK Ariani Nur Safitri. (2021). “Studi Korelasi antara Body Image dan Penerimaan Diri dengan Kepercayaan Diri Remaja Peserta Didik Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 44 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021”. Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Penelitian ini membahas hubungan antara body image dan penerimaan diri dengan kepercayaan pada remaja. Penelitian menggunakan penedekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif korlasional. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel junuh yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 44 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 yang berjmlah 260 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data body image, penerimaan diri, dan kepercayaan diri menggnakan kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi winstep Rasch model untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas setiap variabel, dan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS untuk mengetahui kategori setiap variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara umum prsepsi body image peserta didik SMPN Bandung berada pada kategori negatif Penerimaan diri pada kategori menolak, dan tingkat kepercayaan diri pada tingkatan sedang data dianalisis menggunakan Pearson product moment untuk mengetahui koefisien korelasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan koefisien korelasi 0,596 dan sig 0,000 pada hubungan body image dengan kepercayaan diri, 0,687 dan sig 0,000 pada penerimaan diri dengan kepercayaan diri, dan 6,29 sig 0,000 pada body image dan penerimaan diri. Indonesia University of Education. This research discusses the relationship between body image and self-acceptance with confidence in adolescents. The study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational method. The sample used was a saturated samples, namely all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 44 Bandung for the 2020/2021 academic year, totaling 260 people. Body image data collection techniques, self-acceptance, and self-confidence using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the Winstep Rasch model application to determine the validity and reliability of each variable, and using the SPSS application to determine the category of each variable. The results showed that in general the body image perception of SMPN 44 Bandung students was in the negative category. Self-acceptance was in the reject category, and the level of self-confidence was at a moderate level. The data were analyzed using Pearson's product moment to determine the correlation coefficient. The results of the analysis show the correlation coefficient is 0.596 and sig 0.000 on the relationship between body image and self-confidence, 0.687 and sig 0.000 on self-acceptance with self-confidence, and 6.29 sig 0.000 on body image and self-acceptance.
