Abstract

PENERAPAN MODEL INKUIRI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA DI KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, yang dilakukan pada kelas IV SDN Setialaksana 03, Kecamatan Cabangbungin, Kabupaten Bekasi tahun ajaran 2020-2021) Oleh Yeni Amelia 1704460 ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti penerapan Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Setialaksana 03. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Responden penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Setialaksana 03 yang terdiri dari 25 orang Siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Model Inkuiri dapat meningkatkan kemampuan IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Setialaksana 03. Peningkatan dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata siswa pada tes/penilaian awal yaitu (55,3) yang masuk ke dalam kategori “Kurang”; dari nilai rata-rata siswa pada tes/penilaian siklus I yaitu (64,8) yang masuk ke dalam kategori “Kurang”; dari nilai rata-rata siswa pada tes/penilaian siklus II yaitu (69,0) yang masuk ke dalam kategori “Cukup”; dan nilai rata-rata siswa pada tes/penilaian siklus III yaitu (100) yang masuk ke dalam kategori “Baik”. Berarti selama proses pemberian tindakan selama tiga siklus, siswa mengalami peningkatan sebanyak (12,88) poin. Peningkatan yang lebih penting adalah perubahan yang terjadi pada suasana belajar siswa di kelas, terutama yang menyangkut: sikap, motivasi belajar, dan interaksi siswa di kelas. Selama proses tindakan, suasana belajar menjadi semakin aktif, siswa mengurangi tindakan-tindakan tidak disiplin seperti ngobrol pada saat melaksanakan pembelajaran melalui zoom meeting ataupun melalui luring pada saat pemeblajaran di kelas, siswa nampak lebih bersemangat dan bahagia mengikuti pelajaran, dan dalam kegiatan kelompok mereka dapat lebih berpartisipasi aktif dan berkontribusi dalam pemecahan masalah dalam kelompok mereka. Kata Kunci: Metode Inkuiri, dan Hasil Pembelajaran IPA ----- APPLICATION OF THE INQUIRY MODEL TO IMPROVE RESULTS STUDENTS LEARNING IN SCIENCE LEARNING IN CLASS IV ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (Classroom Action Research, which was conducted in class IV SDN Setialaksana 03, Branchbungin District, Bekasi Regency for the 2020-2021 academic year) By Yeni Amelia 1704460 ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the application of the Inquiry Learning Model in improving science learning outcomes in fourth grade students of SD Negeri Setialaksana 03. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). Respondents of this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri Setialaksana 03 which consisted of 25 students. The results showed that the Inquiry Model could improve the science skills of fourth grade students at SD Negeri Setialaksana 03. The increase could be seen from the average score of students on the initial test/assessment, namely (55.3) which was included in the "Less" category; from the average score of students in the first cycle of tests/assessments (64.8), which fall into the "Less" category; from the average score of students in the second cycle of tests/assessments (69.0), which falls into the "Enough" category; and the average score of students in the third cycle of the test/assessment is (100) which falls into the "Good" category. It means that during the process of giving the action for three cycles, students experienced an increase of (12.88) points. The improvement that is more important is the changes that occur in the learning atmosphere of students in the classroom, especially regarding: attitudes, learning motivation, and student interactions in class. During the action process, the learning atmosphere becomes more active, students reduce undisciplined actions such as chatting when carrying out learning through zoom meetings or offline during class learning, students seem more enthusiastic and happy to follow lessons, and in group activities they can more actively participate and contribute to problem solving in their group.
