    Abstract

    Upaya Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Matematika tentang Sifat-sifat Bangun Ruang melalui Penerapan Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep matematika tentang sifat-sifat bangun ruang melalui penerapan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dan subjeknya adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I mencapai 68,40 sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 78,40.Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah pembelajaran dengan menerapkan pendekatan CTL dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa di kelas IV. Ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus I hanya mencapai 11 orang atau 44 % dan yang belum tuntas belajarnya mencapai 14 orang atau 56 %. Namun, pada siklus II ketuntasan belajar mencapai 20 orang atau 80 % dan yang belum tuntas belajarnya 5 orang atau 20 %. Kata kunci: Pemahaman konsep, bangun ruang, pendekatan CTL
    Efforts to Improve Understanding of Mathematical Concepts Build Space properties through the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach . This study aims to determine students' understanding of mathematical concepts geometrical properties through the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning approach . The method used was Classroom Action Research and the subject is a fourth grade student who totaled 25 students . The results of the study in the first cycle reached 68.40 , while in the second cycle increased to 78.40 . Conclusion of the study is learning to apply the CTL approach can improve the understanding of the concept of students in the fourth grade . Mastery learning of students in the first cycle only reach 11 or 44 % and who have not completed their study reached 14 people , or 56 % .
