Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Stres Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Guru (Studi Kasus Di SMPN 1 Cicalengka)”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan menganalisis mengenai ada atau tidaknya pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kinerja guru (studi kasus di SMP Negeri 1 Cicalengka). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Deskriptif dengan pendekatan Kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru di SMP Negeri 1 Cicalengka. Teknik pengambilan sempel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik sensus atau penggunaan seluruh populasi dikarenakan populasi kurang dari 100 orang, yaitu dengan populasi sebanyak 57 orang. Berdasarkan pengolahan data yang dilakukan dengan perhitungan WMS (Weight Means Score) menunjukkan rata-rata kecenderungan umum untuk variabel X (Stres Kerja) sedang dengan score rata-rata sebesar 2,60. Sedangkan tingkat kecenderungan umum dari variabel Y (Kinerja Guru) menunjukkan sangat baik dengan score 4,36. Berdasarkan hasil uji koefisien korelasi antara variabel X dan variabel Y diperoleh hasil negatif sebesar -0,287 yang menunjukkan bahwa variabel X dan variabel Y tidak memiliki korelasi. Hasil uji signifikansi menunjukkan bahwa dengan kaidah pengujian thitung > ttabel -2,220 < 1,673 maka Ho diterima. Dalam hasil uji determinasi variabel X memberikan kontribusi kepada variabel Y sebesar 8,2% dan 91,8% lainnya terdapat pada faktor lain. Selanjunya adalah hasil uji regresi yang menunjukkan 65,426 + (-0,287)X, artinya bahwa apabila stres kerja meningkat -0,287 maka akan menurunkan kinerja guru sebesar -0,287. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah stres kerja dan kinerja guru mempunyai pengaruh negatif dengan arah hubungan yang negatif. Hubungan negatif ini menandakan bahwa stres kerja yang semakin tinggi akan berpengaruh terhadap penurunan kinerja guru. Kata Kunci: Stres Kerja, Kinerja Guru   ABSTRACT This study entitled "The Effect of Work Stress on Teacher Performance (Case Study at SMP Negeri 1 Cicalengka)". This study aims to describe and analyze whether or not there is an effect of work stress on teacher performance at SMPN 1 Cicalengka. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population of this study were all teachers at SMPN 1 Cicalengka. The sampling technique used in this study is the census technique or the use of the entire population because the population is less than 100 people, with a population of 57 people. Based on data processing performed with the calculation of WMS (Weight Means Score) shows the average general trend for the variable X (Work Stress) is with an average score of 2.60. While the general trend level of the Y variable (Teacher Performance) shows very good with a score of 4.36. Based on the results of the correlation coefficient test between the X variable and Y variable, a negative result of -0.287 was obtained which indicates that the X variable and Y variable have no correlation. The results of the significance test show that with the test rule tcount > ttable -2.220 <1.673, Ho is accepted. In the results of the determination test, the X variable contributes to the Y variable by 8.2% and the other 91.8% is found in other factors. Next is the result of the regression test which shows 65.426 + (-0.287)X, meaning that if work stress increases -0.287 it will decrease teacher performance by -0.287. So that it can be concluded from this study that work stress and teacher performance have a negative influence with a negative relationship direction. This negative relationship indicates that the higher work stress will affect the decline in teacher performance. Keyword: work stress, teacher performance
