Abstract

Kepuasan siswa adalah perasaan yang diarasakan siswa sebagai konsumen sekolah saat keinginan atau kebutuhannya terpenuhi. Kepuasaan ini tidak akan terwujud begitu saja tanpa adanya faktor pendorong pemenuhan kepuasan itu sendiri. Beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan siswa adalah penerapan Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) Sekolah dan dukungan budaya sekolah yang tinggi sehingga proses manajerial dan pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran di sekolah dapat berjalan dengan semestinya. Dua hal tersebut akan sangat mempengaruhi layanan sekolah, baik oleh tenaga pendidik (guru) maupun tenaga administrasi, terhadap siswa- siswanya. Layanan yang baik tentu akan memberikan kepuasaan tersendiri bagi siswa tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran umum mengenai penerapan SIM Sekolah, budaya sekolah, dan kepuasan siswa, serta besarnya pengaruh yang diberikan oleh penerapan SIM Sekolah terhadap kepuasan siswa , besarnya pengaruh budaya sekolah terhadap kepuasan siswa, dan besarnya pengaruh penerapan SIM dan budaya sekolah terhadap kepuasan siswa. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri se-Kota Bandung dengan respondennya adalah siswanya. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket mengenai penerapan SIM sekolah, budaya sekolah, dan kepuasan siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menguji setiap hipotesis yang telah dirumuskan dalam penelitian. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa gambaran umum mengenai penerapan SIM sekolah, budaya sekolah, dan kepuasan siswa berada pada kategori tinggi. Penerapan SIM Sekolah memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan dengan kategori cukup terhadap kepuasan siswa. Budaya sekolah memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan dengan kategori rendah terhadap kepuasan siswa. Penerapan SIM dan budaya sekolah memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan dengan kategori cukup terhadap kepuasan siswa. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya, setiap variabel tersebut harus lebih ditingkatkan lagi. Beberapa hal yang perlu tingkatkan adalah faktor interface sebagai penghubung antara SIM dan siswa, memberikan orientasi lebih terhadap setiap individu di sekolah, dan sekolah lebih memperhatikan hal- hal yang bersifat fisik karena hal ini dirasakan dan dilihat langsung oleh siswa. Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi Manajemen, budaya sekolah, kepuasan siswa Student satisfaction is a feeling of student as school consumer when their wants or needs was fulfilled. This satisfaction will not happen without some driving factor to fullfill it. Some factors that may influence the student satisfaction is the implementation of School Management Information Systems (MIS) and high School culture support so that the managerial and implementation of the learning process in schools can be run properly. Two things will greatly affect school services, both by educators (teachers) or administrative staff to students. Good service would provide its own satisfaction for the student. This study aims to determine the general picture of MIS implementation, school culture, and student satisfaction, and how much the influence of the MIS implementation to student satisfaction, how much the influence of school culture to student satisfaction, and how much the influence of MIS implementation and school culture to student satisfaction. The study was conducted in puclic senior high schools in Bandung, which became the unit of analysis the respondents were students at each school . Research data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to the respondents about MIS implementation, school culture, and student satisfaction. Data analysis was done by testing every hypothesis that has been formulated. This study found that MIS implementation in school, school culture is, and student satisfaction are in high category. School MIS implementation have an significant influence with enough categories to student satisfaction. School culture give the significant influence with low categories to student satisfaction. MIS implementation and school culture give the significant influence with enaugh categories to student satisfaction. But in practice, each of these variables should be further enhanced . A few things to improve is the interface as the link between the SIM and the students, give more orientation to each individual in school, and schools should pay more attention to the things that are physical in school because it can be felt and seen immediately by the student as school consumer.
