Abstract

Ketidaksesuaian fasilitas bengkel sekolah menengah kejuruan dengan kebutuhan sekolah maupun peserta didik dapat menghambat proses pembelajaran praktik yang dilakukan guru maupun peserta didik. Tantangan bagi sekolah untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan kejuruan adalah menyediakan fasilitas bengkel atau laboratorium yang memadai dan memenuhi standar kebutuhan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pertama, mengetahui kesesuaian peralatan praktik bengkel yang ditinjau dari nama alat, spesifikasi, jumlah, kondisi alat dan persyaratan seorang penguji pada uji kompetensi keahlian Teknik dan Bisnis Sepeda Motor (TBSM) dengan standar uji kompetensi keahlian yang telah ditetapkan, kedua, mengetahui kesesuaian indikator soal uji kompetensi keahlian TBSM dengan standar kompetensi nasional kompetensi keahlian TBSM berdasarkan KKNI, ketiga, kesesuaian antara peralatan praktik bengkel yang digunakan pada uji kompetensi keahlian TBSM dengan peralatan bengkel yang digunakan DU/DI. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi di dua sekolah menengah kejuruan negeri dan satu dunia usaha di kabupaten Kuantan Singingi, menggunakan daftar periksa dan wawancara dengan wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, ketua jurusan sekolah menengah kejuruan, kepala bengkel, guru mata pelajaran muatan produktif dan mekanik senior di bengkel sepeda motor. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kesesuaian peralatan praktik bengkel yang dimiliki sekolah khususnya kompetensi keahlian Teknik dan Bisnis Sepeda Motor dan DU/DI dari hasil analisis, sangat sesuai dengan standar peralatan uji kompetensi keahlian TBSM pada seluruh paket uji kompetensi keahlian TBSM yang disediakan. Selain itu, penguji internal berada dalam kategori sangat sesuai dalam memenuhi standar persyaratan sebagai seorang penguji dan penguji eksternal berada pada kategori cukup sesuai sebagai penguji UKK TBSM. Kata kunci: Kesesuaian, UKK, Bengkel otomotif The incompatibility of vocational high school workshop facilities with the needs of schools and students can hinder the practical learning process carried out by teachers and students. The challenge for schools to achieve vocational education goals is to provide adequate workshop or laboratory facilities and meet standard needs. The objectives of this research are first, to find out the suitability of workshop practice equipment in terms of tool name, specification, number, condition of equipment and requirements of a tester on the competency test for Motorcycle Engineering and Business expertise with the predefined skill competency test standards, second, to know the suitability of indicators. competency test questions for Motorcycle Engineering and Business expertise with national competency standards for Motorcycle Engineering and Business expertise competency based on the Indonesian National Work Qualification Framework (KKNI), third, the suitability of workshop practice equipment used in the Motorcycle Engineering and Business expertise competency test with equipment workshops used by business and industry. Data collection was carried out by observation in two public vocational high schools and one business community in Kuantan Singingi district, using checklists and interviews with the vice principal of the curriculum field, the head of the vocational high school department, the head of the workshop, the teacher of productive content subjects and senior mechanics in motorcycle shop. This study concludes that the suitability of the workshop practice equipment owned by the school, especially the competency of Motorcycle Engineering and Business expertise as well as the business and industry from the results of the analysis, is in accordance with the competency test equipment standards for Motorcycle Engineering and Business expertise competency in all available skills competency test packages. In addition, internal examiners are in the very suitable category in meeting the standard requirements as an examiner and external examiners are in the quite appropriate category as an examiner for the Competency Test for Motorcycle Engineering and Business Skills.
