Abstract

Website sekolah yang bagus tidak hanya dilihat dari sisi desain, tetapi yang lebih utama adalah dari konten yang tersedia apakah dapat memberikan informasi bermanfaat bagi sivitas sekolah dan pihak lain yang membutuhkan informasi tentang sekolah. Sejauh ini belum terdapat standar panduan dan aturan membuat isi konten website Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Oleh karenanya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengivestigasi kualitas konten website SMK di Provinsi Riau. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data sekunder, yaitu dengan menggunakan website resmi data pokok SMK di Provinsi Riau. Penelitian ini menghasilkan data investigasi bahwa website SMK di Provinsi Riau sebagian besar telah menggunakan domain resmi, akan tetapi masih rata-rata kriteria website SMK di Provinsi Riau masih standar. Temuan penelitian dari hasil investigasi website sekolah, ditemukan beberapa website yang tidak memiliki isi konten sama sekali, dan isi konten pwebsite pengembangan diri berupa kepala sekolah/ wakil kepala sekolah maupun guru, serta pengembangan diri siswa magang/ PKl berupa sertifikat. Kata Kunci : kriteria website sekolah, isi konten website ideal, website smk. A good school website is not only seen from the design side, but more importantly from the available content whether it can provide useful information for school members and other parties who need information about schools. So far, there are no standard guidelines and rules for creating content on the Vocational High School (SMK) website. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the quality of Vocational School website content in Riau Province. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. The data collection technique uses secondary data, namely by using the official website of the principal data of SMK in Riau Province. This study produces investigative data that most of the SMK websites in Riau Province have used the official domain, but still the average criteria for SMK websites in Riau Province are still standard. Research findings from the results of investigating school websites, found several websites that had no content at all, and self-development content in the form of school principals / deputy principals and teachers, as well as apprenticeship / PKl student self-development in the form of certificates.
