Abstract
ABSTRAK Nenden Chiarun Nisa (2020), Kajian Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, dan Penilaian Guru dalam Pembelajaran Matematika Berorientasi pada Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) sebagai tuntutan keterampilan di abad 21 menjadi sangat penting dimiliki peserta didik saat ini. Kegiatan pembelajaran saat ini masih didominasi sebagian besar guru sebatas menjelaskan konsep secara informatif dan memberikan contoh soal saja sehingga pengembangan HOTS peserta didik belum dapat terakomodasi. Hasil HOTS yang rendah menunjukkan bahwa HOTS tidak mudah bagi sebagian besar peserta didik. HOTS perlu diterapkan dan dikembangkan oleh guru termasuk oleh guru matematika dari mulai perencanaan, pelaksanaan, sampai penilaian sehingga setiap langkah yang dialami peserta didik dalam pembelajaran dapat mengembangkan HOTS. Penelitian ini meliputi proses menganalisis dokumen perencanaan, observasi, serta wawancara yang melibatkan guru Matematika di Kabupaten Subang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan guru telah mencoba melaksankan pembelajaran Matematika yang berorientasi pada HOTS meskipun terkendala dengan kemampuan perencanaan, ketersediaan sarana, ataupun kemampuan peserta didik dalam matematika. Guru hendaknya mengembangkan HOTS dengan membuat rangsangan pertanyaan, penyederhanaan masalah yang tidak terstruktur menjadi beberapa sub-masalah, serta pelibatan semua peserta didik dalam diskusi kecil. Konsistensi guru menumbuhkan HOTS dalam pembelajaran diperlukan agar peserta didik terus terbiasa dengan HOTS. Currently learning activities are still dominated by most teachers limited to explaining concepts in an informative manner and giving examples of problems so that the HOTS development of students cannot be accommodated. Low HOTS results indicate that HOTS is not easy for most students. HOTS needs to be implemented and developed by teachers including mathematics teachers from planning, implementation, to assessment so that every step experienced by students in learning can develop HOTS. This research includes the process of analyzing planning documents, observations, and interviews involving Mathematics teachers in Subang Regency. The results showed the teacher had tried to implement Mathematics learning oriented to HOTS even though it was constrained by the ability of planning, the availability of facilities, or the ability of students in mathematics. The teacher should develop HOTS by stimulating questions, simplifying unstructured problems into several sub-problems, and involving all students in small discussions. Teacher consistency in growing HOTS in learning is needed so that students continue to get used to HOTS. Keyword: HOTS, Mathematics learning, learning planning, learning assessment
