Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan proses berpikir kreatif serta faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan berpikir kreatif siswa ditinjau dari habits of mind. Berdasarkan tujuannya maka penelitian ini termasuk deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI MIPA di salah satu SMA Negeri di Tasikmalaya pada tahun ajaran 2019/2020 dengan materi terkait aplikasi turunan fungsi. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu melakukan tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif, menyebarkan angket habits of mind, melakukan wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa 1) proses berpikir kreatif siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang merujuk kepada indikator berpikir kreatif memiliki capaian yang berbeda sesuai dengan karakteristik habits of mind masing-masing siswa, 2) faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan berpikir kreatif siswa habits of mind baik yaitu siswa lebih memfokuskan terhadap informasi utama saja, belum terbiasa menyelesaikan masalah yang mengandung banyak unsur tetapi dapat dikembangkan seiring dengan perkembangannya dan kurang teliti dalam melakukan proses perhitungan akhir; siswa habits of mind sedang yaitu belum menguasai materi prasyarat yang cukup, kurang terampil dalam menggunakan rumus yang mendukung pada penyelesaian masalah dan kurang percaya diri terhadap hasil jawaban yang diperoleh; siswa habits of mind kurang yaitu kurang memahami materi prasyarat, salah dalam memaknai informasi, keliru dalam menerapkan konsep matematis, kurang terampil menggunakan prosedur matematis dan kurang memiliki dorongan dalam menghadapi masalah matematis. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the process of creative thinking and the factors that influence students’ creative thinking difficulties in terms of habits of mind. Based on the objectives, this research is a qualitative descriptive. Subjects in the study were students of class XI MIPA in one of the state high schools in Tasikmalaya in the 2019/2020 school year with material related to functional derivative applications. Data collection techniques are testing creative thinking skills, spreading habits of mind questionnaire, conducting interviews, documenting studies and triangulation. The results of the study concluded that 1) students' creative thinking processes in solving problems that refer to indicators of creative thinking have different achievements according to the characteristics of each student's habit of mind 2) factors that influence the difficulty of creative thinking students with good habits of mind are more focused on the main information, not accustomed to solving problems that contain many elements but can be developed along with its development and not careful in doing the final calculation process; students with moderate habits of mind that is not yet mastering sufficient prerequisite material, are less skilled in using formulas that support problem solving and lack of confidence in the results of answers obtained; students with habits of mind are lacking that is not understanding the prerequisite material, wrong in interpreting information, erroneous in applying mathematical concept, less skilled in using mathematical procedures and lacking impetus in dealing with mathematical problems.
