Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh belum tersedianya model pendampingan lansia yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan potensi lansia. Peneliti menawarkan solusi permasalahan tersebut dengan membuat rancangan model pendampingan layanan konseling vokasional bagi lansia berbasis home care. Model tersebut dapat digunakan untuk penanganan masalah lansia potensial dan non potensial dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar lansia, sehingga lansia bisa hidup sehat dan mandiri. Prosedur penelitian mengacu pada tahapan pengembangan model DBR (Design Based Research). Rancangan model pendampingan dibuat secara unik dengan penanaman vokasional yang dimiliki oleh setiap lansia. Rancangan model pendampingan meliputi pendekatan sistem home care, ruang lingkup layanan yang terdiri dari karakteristik layanan dan lansia, sifat layanan dan bentuk layanan. Bentuk layanan dibagi menjadi dua bagian yaitu, bentuk layanan non formal bagi lansia potensial dengan pengembangan potensi konseling vokasional dan bentuk layanan informal bagi lansia non potensial dengan pengembangan konseling lansia. Hasil validasi dari rancangan model tersebut menunjukkan bahwa model pendampingan sangat layak untuk digunakan. Implementasi dari model pendampingan layanan konseling vokasional bagi lansia bisa dijadikan sebagai pemberian bantuan bagi lansia guna mengembangkan potensi diri lansia. This research is based on the unavailability of a mentoring model for the elderly who can improve the potential abilities of the elderly. The researcher offers a solution to the problem by designing a model of vocational counseling services for elderly home care that can be used to deal with potential and non-potential elderly problems in meeting basic needs of the elderly, so that the elderly can live healthy and independent lives. The research procedure refers to the stages of developing the DBR model (Design Based Research). The design of the mentoring model is made uniquely by vocational planting that is owned by every elderly person. The design of the mentoring model includes the home care system approach, the scope of services consisting of service characteristics and the elderly, the nature of services and forms of service. The form of service is divided into two parts, namely, forms of non-formal services for potential elderly people and informal services for non-potential elderly people. The results of the validation of the model design show that it is very feasible to use. The stages in the implementation of this mentoring model consist of the needs analysis phase, home care system approach, implementation of assistance and evaluation services. The implementation of the model of vocational counseling services for the elderly can be used as assistance for the elderly to develop the potential of the elderly.
