    Abstract

    Penelitian berjudul “Penggunaan Angklung sebagai Media untuk Meningkatkan Pembelajaran Ritmik pada Siswa Kelas VIII di SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Bandung”. Permasalahan yang terjadi siswa mengalami kesulitan membaca ritmik pada notasi balok. Tujuan penelitian adalah meningkatkan pembelajaran ritmik menggunakan media angklung. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, dengan subjek penelitian seluruh siswa kelas VIII-B yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Materi yang diajarkan yaitu teknik memainkan angklung dan unsur-unsur ritmik. Hasil penggunaan angklung sebagai media pembelajaran ritmik pada siswa kelas VIII yaitu: pada siklus I terdapat 17 siswa; pada siklus II terdapat 21 siswa, dan; pada siklus III terdapat 24 siswa yang tuntas belajar membaca notasi ritmik menggunakan media angklung. Dengan demikian disimpulkan penggunaan angklung dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran ritmik pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Bandung.

    Research titled “The use of angklung as a medium to increase rhythmic learning in class VIII students at junior hight school 6 Muhammadiyah Bandung”. Problems that occur students have difficulty reading rhythmic on beam notation. The research objective is to increase rhythmic learning using angklung media. This type of research is classroom action research carried out in three cycles, with the subjects of all VIII-B students totaling 29 students. The material taught is the technique of playing angklung and rhythmic elements. The results of using angklung as a rhythmic learning medium for eighth grade students are: in the first cycle there were 17 students; in cycle II there were 21 students,and; in the third cyle there were 24 students who had finished learning to read rhythmic notation using angklung media. Thus it was concluded that the use of angklung can increase rhythmic learning in class VIII students at junior hight school 6 Muhammadiyah Bandung.
