Abstract

Semakin meningkatnya SmO2 maka semakin baik pula kebugaran jasmani seseorang. Hasil analisis koefisien determinasi menunjukkan pengaruh faktor kadar SmO2 memengaruhi kebugaran jasmani sebesar 63,6%. Physical fitness is a physical condition related to the ability or ability of the body to function in carrying out work optimally and efficiently. This study aims to determine whether there is a correlation of muscle oxygen saturation and physical fitness from college student in UKM softball UPI. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive. Population in this study is college student in UKM softball UPI. Sampling technique is purposive sampling, then obtained 7 college students as study samples. Data collection of muscle oxygen saturation using Moxy (muscle oxygen monitoring) and physical fitness using Beep test. Data were processed using Excel and SPSS Statistics 22.0. Data analysis used Pearson Product Moment Test and Simple Linear Regression Analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, the results obtained p-value 0.032 ≤ 0.05. There is a correlation between SmO2 with physical fitness. The results of the analysis r value is 0.797. There is a strong level of correlation between the variables and character of the correlation is positive. It means, the increasing SmO2, make the physical fitness of a person better. The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination show the influence of the factor of SmO2 levels affecting the physical fitness by 63.6%.
