    Abstract

    Perkembangan teknologi telah memengaruhi segala bidang termasuk bidang pendidikan, sehingga muncul media pembelajaran baru yaitu m-learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa aplikasi berbasis smartphone pada materi reaksi reduksi dan oksidasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Developmental Research dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Penentuan karakteristik media dilakukan menggunakan tabel analisis wacana. Kualitas dari segi media dan segi materi dinilai menggunakan lembar review oleh tiga orang dosen ahli. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan menggunakan lembar tanggapan peserta didik dan pendidik terhadap tiga orang pendidik dan lima orang peserta didik. Berdasarkan penentuan karakteristik media diperoleh bahwa media animasi digunakan untuk menjelaskan materi reaksi reduksi dan oksidasi berdasarkan transfer elektron dan perubahan bilangan oksidasi, serta media video animasi digunakan untuk menjelaskan materi reaksi reduksi dan oksidasi berdasarkan keterlibatan oksigen. Berdasarkan hasil review dan uji coba terbatas diperoleh bahwa konten, teks, gambar, animasi, video, navigasi, dan teknis pada multimedia pembelajaran yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori layak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran berbasis smartphone yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan oleh peserta didik maupun pendidik.

    The development of technology has influenced all fields including education, so appeared m-learning. This research aims to produce learning media of reduction and oxidation reactions in the form of smartphone-based applications. The method used in this research is Developmental Research by applying the ADDIE model of developmental. The characteristic of multimedia is obtained by analyzing the resource table. The content and media quality of multimedia are revealed from the review result conducted by three expert lecturers. The limited trial stage conducted using responses sheets by three teachers and five students. The research of characteristic multimedia showing that the animation media is used to explain oxidation and reduction reaction in terms of electron transfer and oxidation state change, and the animated video media is used to explain oxidation and reduction reaction in terms of oxygen transfer. The result of the review and responses sheets showing that the smartphone application developed in terms of content, media of text, image, animation, video, instructional design, and technical aspect is in good quality, therefore the multimedia developed as a learning media that can be used by teachers and students.
