Abstract

Penurunan kinerja pegawai Deputi Meteorologi BMKG Pusat Jakarta mengindikasikan pencapaian target kinerja pegawai Deputi Meteorologi BMKG Pusat Jakarta rendah. Kinerja pegawai merupakan faktor penting dalam menjalankan sebuah instansi, semakin baik kualitas kinerja maka akan diikuti peningkatan citra instansi yang semakin bagus. Banyak faktor dapat meningkatkan kinerja pegawai sebuah instansi, yang menarik peneliti pada penelitian kali ini adalah kepuasan kerja dan motivasi. Penelitian ini dimaksud untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh kepuasan kerja dan motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran kepuasan kerja, motivasi dan kinerja pegawai Deputi Meteorologi BMKG Pusat Jakarta, mengetahui pengaruh antara variabel kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai, pengaruh kepuasan kerja dan motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan verifikatif. Populasi penelitian sejumlah 191 pegawai dan sampel sebanyak 72 responden. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah koefisien korelasi pearson product moment dan analisis regresi berganda. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t-test untuk melihat pengaruh secara parsial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Kepuasan Kerja memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Deputi Meteorologi BMKG Pusat Jakarta sedangkan motivasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Deputi Meteorologi BMKG Pusat Jakarta. Saat diuji secara simultan Kepuasan Kerja dan Motivasi mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Deputi Meteorologi BMKG.;---The decline in the performance of Deputi Meteorologi BMKG Pusat Jakarta employees indicates the achievement of the performance targets of Deputi Meteorologi BMKG Pusat Jakarta employees is low. Employee performance is an important factor in running an agency, the better the quality of performance, the better the image of the agency will be followed. Many factors can improve employee performance of an agency, which attracts researchers in this study is job satisfaction and motivation. This study is intended to determine the effect of job satisfaction and motivation on employee performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of job satisfaction, motivation and performance of employees of Deputi Meteorologi BMKG Pusat Jakarta, find out the effect of variables on job satisfaction on employee performance, motivation on employee performance, influence of job satisfaction and motivation on employee performance. The research method used is descriptive and verification. The study population was 191 employees and a sample of 72 respondents. The analysis technique used is Pearson product moment correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis. Hypothesis testing uses t-test to see the effect partially. The results showed that Job Satisfaction has a positive influence on Deputi Meteorologi BMKG Pusat Jakarta Employee Performance while motivation does not affect the Performance of Deputi Meteorologi BMKG Pusat Jakarta Employees. When tested simultaneously Job Satisfaction and Motivation have a positive influence on the Performance of Deputi Meteorologi BMKG Pusat Jakarta Employees.
