    Abstract

    Sensor dan pengolahan citra telah banyak digunakan dalam proses kontrol kualitas bahan pangan, salah satunya pada jeruk keprok. Berat, ukuran dan warna dari jeruk merupakan beberapa faktor yang menentukan kualitas dan kelas jeruk. Sebuah sistem yang terdiri dari sensor load cell, sensor ultrasonik dan kamera webcam dirancang untuk menentukan warna dan kelas jeruk keprok berdasarkan berat dan diameter. Sistem ini menggunakan Matlab sebagai pengolah data gambar dari webcam untuk mengetahui tingkat kematangan buah berdasarkan luas daerah berwarna kuning pada kulit buah. Semakin besar nilai luas tersebut maka buah dapat diindikasikan semakin matang. Hasil pengolahan citra menunjukkan nilai luas daerah yang terdeteksi pada Matlab akan meningkat sesuai dengan meningkatnya daerah berwarna kuning pada jeruk. Pengujian dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan hasil sortasi menggunakan sistem dan hasil sortasi secara manual. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan persentase keberhasilan sistem dalam penentuan kelas jeruk adalah 96,67 %. Persentase kesalahan pengukuran berat adalah 4,39 %, kesalahan pengukuran diameter adalah 3,20 % dan persentase keberhasilan sistem deteksi warna adalah 93,33 %. Kecepatan rata-rata proses sortasi sistem adalah 10 menit/buah;---Sensor and image processing is frequently used on crop quality control process, among others is on Citrus reticulata. The weight, the size and the color of this fruit are some of the factors being monitored on sortation process. From these factors, citrus’s quality and class can be determined. A system consisting of load cell sensor, ultrasonic sensor and webcam camera is designed to determine the color and class of a citrus based on its weight and size. This system using Matlab as image data processor to find out the ripeness level based on the area of yellow color region of the fruit. The greater value of area indicates the fruit is getting ripe. The result of image processing shows that the value of detected area is increasing due to the enlargement of the yellow color region of the fruit. Experiment was done by comparing the results of sorting using the system and manually sorting results. The result of experiment shows that percentage of success of citrus class identification by the system is 96,67%. The error percentage of measurement of weight is 4,39 %,the error percentage of measurement of diameter is 3,20 % and the percentage of color detection system success is 93,33%. The average speed of system’s sorting process is 10 minutes/fruit.
