Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah rendahnya keterampilan sosial diajarkan di persekolahan formal. Di pendidikan guru Muallimin Persis 3 Pameungpeuk, keterampilan sosial diajarkan di dalam kelas, program pengembangan diri, ekstrakulikuler bahkan dikembangkan dalam program pengabdian di masyarakat melalui Praktek Kependidikan dan Khidmat Jamiyyah (PKKJ). Penelitian difokuskan pada program Praktek Kependidikan dan Khidmat Jamiyyah (PKKJ) di pendidikan guru Muallimin Persis 3 dengan pertanyaan penelitian (1) bagaimana pengembangan keterampilan sosial dalam kurikulum pendidikan guru di Muallimin? (2) bagaimana visi, misi dan tujuan PKKJ? (3) bagaimana perencanaan dan pelaksanaan PKKJ? dan (4) bagaimana hasil pengembangan PKKJ untuk keterampilan sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai program PKKJ sebagai pengembangan keterampilan sosial pada pendidikan guru di Muallimin Persis 3 Pameungpeuk. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus yaitu mengungkap dan memahami kenyataan kasus tertentu atau program tertentu. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam latar/setting alamiah, dengan mempergunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasi penelitian menunjukan; (1), PKKJ sebagai pengembangan keterampilan sosial terdapat dalam kurikulum keguruan Muallimin Persis sebagai syarat kelulusan kelas XII. (2), visi, misi dan tujuan PKKJ untuk mendukung visi, misi dan tujuan pendidikan Pesantren Persis, yaitu tafaquh fi din paham terhadap agama. (3), PKKJ direncanakan kurikulum dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pengabdian masyarakat, pendidikan dan dakwah. (4), PKKJ merupakan wahana potensial dalam pengembangan keterampilan sosial yang menghasilkan soft skill; komunikasi interaksi, partisipasi, tanggung jawab dan kepedulian sosial. PKKJ juga merupakan bentuk inovasi pembelajaran IPS di pesantren. Kata kunci: Keterampilan Sosial, PKKJ, Muallimin, The background of this research is the lack of social skills taught in formal school. While on teacher education in Muallimin of Persis 3 Pameungpeuk, social skills taught in the classroom. Moreover, self-development programs and extracurricular are developed in community service programs in Praktek Kependidikan dan Khidmat Jamiyyah (PKKJ). This study was focused on Praktek Kependidikan dan Khidmat Jamiyyah (PKKJ) in teacher education of Muallimin of Persis 3 with research questions (1) what is the social skills development in the teacher educations’ curriculum in Muallimin? (2) What are the vision, mission and objectives of PKKJ? (3) What are the planning and implementation of PKKJ? And (4) what are the impact of PKKJ for social skills development. The purpose of this study was to obtain a description of the PKKJ program as a tool to develop social skills in teacher education in Muallimin of Persis 3, Pameungpeuk. The research methodology used is qualitative approach with case study methods that is to reveal and to understand the fact of a particular case or a particular program. The data collection was conducted in the natural setting, using interview, observation and literature techniques. The result showed: (1), PKKJ as the social skills development has been in the curriculum of Muallimin as a condition of class XIIs’ graduation. (2) The vision, mission and objectives of PKKJ are to support the Pesantren Persis’ vision, mission and educational goals, which are tafaquh fi din; religion understanding. (3), as curriculum were planned, PKKJ implemented in the form of community service, education and religious speech. (4), PKKJ is a potential tool for the social skills development that produce soft skills; interaction communication, participation, responsibility and social concern.
