Abstract

Sebagai jenjang pendidikan yang paling dasar, pendidikan anak usia dini diharapkan menjadi fondasi kuat untuk membentuk sikap dan karakter peserta didik. Kemampuan anak dalam menunjukkan sikap sains dalam pembelajaran masih rendah, sehingga peneliti mengambil penelitian tentang pengembangan sikap sains anak usia dini melalui pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan subjek penelitian anak-anak Kelompok B di TK Villa Bangkinang Indah Bangkinang Kab. Kampar. Pengembangan sikap sains anak usia dini yang diteliti antara lain; sikap ingin tahu, sikap kreatif, sikap sosial, dan sikap cinta lingkungan. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Reseach) yaitu suatu penelitian yang bersifat meningkatkan praktek pembelajaran di kelas secara profesional untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas dua tindakan. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada setiap tindakannya mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I tindakan 1, anak mulai menunjukkan sikap sainsnya 39% dari keseluruhan anak mencapai tingkatan berkembang sesuai harapan (BSH), artinya mengalami peningkatan sebesar 22% dari data prasiklus. Pada siklus I tindakan 2 meningkat menjadi berkembang sesuai harapan sebesar 56% artinya meningkat 17% dari siklus sebelumnya. Pada siklus II tindakan 1 masih dalam tingkatan berkembang sesuai harapan sebesar 67%, sehingga meningkat 11% dari siklus sebelumnya. Untuk siklus II tindakan 2 meningkat dalam tingkatan berkembang sesuai harapan sebesar 78%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan meningkat 11% dari siklus sebelumnya. Berdasarkan hasil tindakan yang telah dilakukan dapat dinyatakan bahwa upaya pengembangan sikap sains anak usia dini melalui pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing meningkat dari sebelum tindakan (pra siklus) 50% anak masih dalam tintakan belum berkembang, setelah tindakan mengalami kenaikan 78% anak sudah berkembang sesuai harapan. ;---As the most basic education level, early childhood education is expected to become strong foundation in building students’ attitude and character. Child ability in showing science attitude in learning is still low, so the researcher conduct the study about the development of science attitude among young children through guided-inquiry learning. This study was conducted with subject of study were children of Group B in Villa Bangkinang Indah Kinder Garden, Kampar Regency. The development of science attitude among young children studied are: curiosity, creative attitude, social attitude, and love environment attitude. This type of study is Classroom Action Research, that is, a study which enhance learning practice in classroom professionally in order to improve learning process. Data of study were obtained through observation, interview and documentation. This study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consist of two actions. The study result showed that there was enhancement in each action. In cycle 1 of action 1, children begin to show their science attitude of 39% and totally, children achieve development level as expected, which means that there is enhancement of 22% from pre cycle data. In cycle 1 of action 2, children showed their science attitude of 56% which means that there was enhancement of 17% from earlier cycle. In cycle II of action 1, children showed their science attitude of 67% and still in development level as expected, which means there was enhancement of 11% from earlier cycle. For cycle II of action 2 they showed enhancement of 78% and in development level as expected, so it can be concluded that there was enhancement of 11% from earlier cycle. Based on result of action which had been done, it can be stated that the effort to develop science attitude among young children through guided-inquiry learning was enhanced of from pre cycle and 50% of children were still undeveloped in action. Children had developed as expected after there was enhancement of 78% in their action.
