Abstract

Pemahaman konsep dan prinsip fisika merupakan unsur yang sangat mendasar dan prasyarat keberhasilan belajar fisika untuk melanjutkan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Namun, berdasarkan studi pendahuluan pemahaman konsep fisika masih sangat rendah yang ditandai banyaknya miskonsepsi yang terdapat pada siswa. Sehingga diperlukan solusi yaitu model pembelajaran yang mampu mengubah konsepsi siswa. Dalam hal ini, peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran Conceptual Change Model berbantuan PDEODE*E untuk mengubah konsepsi siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk melihat efektivitas penerapan Conceptual Change Model berbantuan PDEODE*E untuk mengubah konsepsi siswa SMA pada materi Usaha dan Energi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode mixed methods dengan sampel 34 siswa pada salah satu SMA Negeri di kota Bandung. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa nilai Ngain antara skor pretest dan posttest bernilai <g> 0,72 dengan kategori tinggi. Hal ini menandakan bahwa model Conceptual Change Model berbantuan PDEODE*E dapat mengubah konsepsi siswa, meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa, serta mengurangi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi usaha dan energi. ;---Understanding of physics concepts and principles is a very basic element and a prerequisite for the success of learning physics to continue to a higher level. However, based on preliminary studies understanding the concept of physics is still very low which is marked by the quantity of misconceptions found in students. So we need a solution that is a learning model that can change students' conceptions. In this case, researchers used the Conceptual Change Model learning model assisted by PDEODE*E to change students' conceptions. The purpose of this study is to see the effectiveness of the application of Conceptual Change Model assisted by PDEODE*E to change the conceptions of high school students in Work and Energy. This study uses mixed methods method with a sample of 34 students in one of the public high schools in the city of Bandung. The results show that the N-gain value between pretest and posttest scores is <g> 0.72 in the high category. This indicates that the Conceptual Change Model assisted by PDEODE*E can change students' conceptions, improve students' conceptual understanding, and reduce students' misconceptions on work andenergy.
