    Abstract

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besaran rate of return to education tenaga kerja di Provinsi Jawa Barat tahun 2016. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan pengembangan dari Model Mincer untuk menghitung rate of return to education. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder Survey Angkatan Kerja Nasional. Adapun teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah OLS (Ordinary Least Square) untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat.
    Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Rata-rata rate of return to education akan semakin tinggi seiring dengan peningkatan tingkat pendidikan, (2) Tingkat pendidikan, pengalaman kerja, dan bertambahnya pengalaman kerja berpengaruh terhadap rate of return to education yang diterima tenaga kerja di Jawa Barat, (3) Tingkat pendidikan, pengalaman kerja, dan bertambahnya pengalaman kerja berpengaruh terhadap rate of return to education berdasarkan gender pada tenaga kerja di Jawa Barat.;---The purpose of this study is to determine the rate of return to education of workers in West Java Province in 2016. The research method used is the development of the Mincer Model to calculate the rate of return to education. The data used is secondary data from the National Labor Force Survey. The analysis technique used is OLS (Ordinary Least Square) to determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable.
    The results showed that (1) the average rate of return to education will be higher along with the increase in education levels, (2) the level of education, work experience, and increased work experience affect the rate of return to education received by workers in Java West, (3) The level of education, work experience, and increased work experience affect the rate of return to education between male and female workers in West Java.
