Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kompensasi dan komitmen kerja guru terhadap mutu pembelajaran, dan hal ini merupakan studi kasus di SMP BPK PENABUR Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan implementasi kompensasi dan komitmen kerja guru di SMP BPK Penabur Bandung; (2) mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh kompensasi terhadap mutu pembelajaran; (3) mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh komitmen kerja guru terhadap mutu pembelajaran; dan (4) mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh kompensasi dan komitmen kerja guru secara simultan terhadap mutu pembelajaran. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik Probability Sampling melalui Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling yaitu teknik sampling acakan dengan stratifikasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini semuanya berjumlah 71 orang. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan instrumen angket model tertutup yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti dalam bentuk rating scale. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) tingkat implementasi kompensasi dalam kategori tinggi, komitmen kerja guru dalam kategori tinggi dan mutu pembelajaran juga dalam kategori yang tinggi, (2) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan kategori tinggi antara implementasi kompensasi terhadap mutu pembelajaran, (3) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan kategori sedang antara komitmen kerja guru terhadap mutu pembelajaran, (4) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan kategori tinggi antara implementasi kompensasi dan komitmen kerja guru secara simultan terhadap mutu pembelajaran.-----------This study aimed to explain the compensation and work commitment of teachers to the quality of learning. This study is a case study which held in BPK PENABUR Junior High School Bandung. This study aims to: (1) describe the implementation of compensation and work commitment of teachers in BPK PENABUR Junior High School Bandung; (2) discover whether there is an effect of compensation on the quality of learning; (3) discover whether there is an influence of the work commitment of the teacher to the quality of learning; and (4) discover whether there is a simultaneous effect of compensation and work commitment of teachers on the quality of learning. The sample used in this study is the Probability Sampling technique through Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling, which is a random sampling technique with stratification. The total sample of this study is 71 people. The research data were obtained using a closed model questionnaire instrument developed by the researcher’s in the form of rating scale. The results showed that: (1) the level of implementation of compensation in the high category, work commitment of teachers in the high category and the quality of learning was also in the high category; (2) there was a positive and significant relationship with the high category between the implementation of compensation to the quality of learning; (3) there is a positive and significant relationship with the medium category between teacher work commitments to the quality of learning; (4) there is a positive and significant relationship with a high category between the implementation of compensation and teacher work commitments simultaneously to the quality of learning.
