Abstract

Motivasi berkaitan langsung dengan kinerja karyawan. motivasi yang dirasakan karyawan dapat meningkatkan atau menurunkan kinerja karyawan. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu absensi yang menurun, penilaian kinerja karyawan yang naik-turun dan juga perusahaan tidak pernah mencapai target, sehingga apakah penyebab dari permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi karyawan, tingkat kinerja karyawan serta pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Diamond Cold Storage Cimahi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif verifikatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa motivasi dan kinerja karyawan PT. Diamond Cold Storage Cimahi tinggi dan terdapat pengaruh antara motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 29%, sementara sisanya 71% dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang tidak diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini sebagai masukan bagi perusahaan terutama kepada supervisor, agar lebih memperhatikan karyawannya dalam membantu pekerjaan, dan mengadakan evaluasi kerja kepada karyawan. Kata kunci: motivasi kerja dan kinerja karyawan. ABSTRACT Motivation is directly related to employee performance. Motivation felt by employees can increase or decrease employee performance. The problem in this research is decreased absenteeism, employee performance appraisals that fluctuated and also the company never reached the target, so what is the cause of the problem. This study aimed to determined the level of employees motivation, level of employee performance and the effect of motivation on employee performance at PT. Diamond Cold Storage Cimahi. This research used quantitative method descriptive verification. The result showed that the motivation and performance of employees of PT. Diamond Cold Storage Cimahi is high and there is an influence between motivation on employee performance by 29%, while the remaining 71% was influenced by variables not examined. The results of this study as input for companies, especially to supervisors, to pay more attention to their employees in helping work and conduct work evaluation to employees.
