Abstract

“Pengaruh Kecerdasan Logis-Matematis terhadap Keberhasilan Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi di SMK Negeri 6 Bandung” ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya keberhasilan belajar siswa sebagai tujuan dari adanya pendidikan. Keberhasilan belajar siswa dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor eksternal dan faktor internal. Salah satu faktor internalnya adalah kecerdasan. Howard Gardner, seorang psikolog dari Harvard mengemukakan bahwa kecerdasan terbagi kedalam delapan bidang, salah satunya adalah kecerdasan logis matematis. Logis matematis merupakan kecerdasan yang berkaitan dengan penalaran logika dan matematika. Tujuan diadakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh dari kecerdasan logis matematis terhadap keberhasilan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran estimasi biaya konstruksi di SMK Negeri 6 Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang melibatkan 32 siswa sebagai sampelnya. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah non-probability samples dengan jenis purposive samples. Hasil kecerdasan logis matematis pada penelitian ini berasal dari Intelligence Structure Test yang diperoleh dari Unit Pelaksanaan Teknis Bimbingan dan Konseling Pengembangan Karir UPI, sedangkan keberhasilan belajar pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari nilai PTS siswa. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini menggunakan jenis korelasional, dengan teknik analisis data non parametrik atau data yang tidak normal. Hasil dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa ada pengaruh yang kuat, positif dan signifikan dari kecerdasan logis matematis terhadap keberhasilan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi kelas XI DPIB 5 di SMK Negeri 6 Bandung tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Students’ learning success can be influenced by both external factors and internal factors. One of the internal factors is intelligence. Howard Gardner, a psychologist from Harvard said that intelligence is divided into eight fields, one of which is logical-mathematical intelligence. This intelligence is related to logical and mathematical reasoning. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an effect of logical-mathematical intelligence on students’ learning success in the subject of construction costs estimation at SMK Negeri 6 Bandung. This research is a quantitative research involving 32 students as a sample. The sampling technique used in this research was non-probability sampling of purposive sampling technique. The results of logical-mathematical intelligence in this research were obtained from the Intelligence Structure Test obtained from the Technical Implementation Unit for Guidance and Counseling Career Development at UPI. Meanwhile, the learning success data were obtained from the students' PTS scores. The research method used in this research was a correlational type, with non-parametric data analysis techniques or non-normally distributed data. The results of this research prove that there is a strong, positive, and significant influence of logical-mathematical intelligence on students’ learning success in the Construction Costs Estimation subject at class XI DPIB 5 of SMK Negeri 6 Bandung in the 2018/2019 academic year.
