Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilaksanakan atas dasar belum tercapainya kriteria kentutansan minimal hasil belajar kognitif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui bagaima hasil belajar metode pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada mata pelajaran Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi di SMK Negeri 6 Bandung. (2) mengetahui bagaimana hasil belajar metode pembelajaran Problem Solving pada mata pelajaran Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi di SMK Negeri 6 Bandung dan (3) memperoleh perbandingan peningkatan hasil belajar antara metode Problem Based Learning dengan Problem Solving sehingga mengetahui metode mana yang peningkatan hasil belajarnya lebih tinggi. Pemilihan metode pembelajaran yang dikomparsi dilakukan berbasis kurikulum yang sedang digunakan pada saat ini yaitu kurikulum 2013, dimana proses pembelajarannya dituntut untuk aktif berpikir nalar dan kritis serta tanggap pada masalah. Metode yang dikomparasi pada penelitian ini adalah, metode pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Problem Solving. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada SMK Negeri 6 Bandung di kelas XI Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan 3 dan 7. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent control group design. Dimana tidak terdapat kelompok kontrol dalam pelaksanaan penelitian. Terdapat dua kelas eksperimen yang diimplementasikan metode pembelajaran yang berbeda dengan kompetensi inti dan dasar serta materi yang sama. Hasil dari penelitian ini dianalisis berdasarkan nilai N-Gain atau nilai peningkatan dari pre-test ke post-test dimana nilai kedua kelas eksperimen meraih peningkatan yang terkategorikan sedang. Namun implementasi metode Problem Solving memberikan hasil belajar kognitif lebih baik dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Kata kunci: Metode Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning, Metode Pembelajaran Problem Solving, Hasil Belajar, Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi Comparation Improvement of Learning Outcomes Problem Based Learning Method with Probelm Solving in Subject Estimated Construction Cost for Student SMK Negeri 6 Bandung ABSTRACT This research was conducted on the basis of not achieving the minimum fart criteria of students' cognitive learning outcomes in the learning process on the subject of Construction Cost Estimation. The purpose of this study are (1) to find out how the learning outcomes of the learning methods Problem Based Learning in the Estimated Construction Costs at SMKK Negeri 6 Bandung. (2) knowing how the learning outcomes of the Problem Solving learning method in the Construction Cost Estimation subject at SMK Negeri 6 Bandung and (3) obtaining a comparison of the increase in learning outcomes between the Problem Based Learning and Problem Solving methods so that it knows which method has an increase in higher learning outcomes. The selection of comparative learning methods is based on the curriculum currently being used, namely the 2013 curriculum, where the learning process is demanded to be active in reasoning and critical thinking and responsive to problems. The method that is compared in this study is, Problem Based Learning and Problem Solving. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 6 Bandung in class XI Modeling Design and Building Information 3 and 7. This research is a quantitative study with experimental research methods. The research design used was nonequivalent control group design. Where there is no control group in conducting research. There are two experimental classes which are implemented in different learning methods with the same core and basic competencies and material. The results of this study were analyzed based on the value of N-Gain, wich both of two method got accreation value from pre-test to post-test. Which both of two experiment class, achieved a moderate categorized enhancement. However, the implementation of the Problem Solving method provides better cognitive learning outcomes compared to the Problem Based Learning method.
