Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan software proteus pada mata kuliah kelistrikan bodi otomotif, dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya persoalan dalam perolehan nilai pada mata kuliah kelistrikan bodi otomotif pada mahasiswa konsentrasi otomotif pendidikan teknik mesin FPTK UPI angkatan 2016, rata-rata perolehan nilai dalam mata kuliah tersebut 5,7 nilai tersebut masih jauh dari KKM yaitu 7,5. Faktor kurangnya perolehan nilai diantaranya banyak peserta didik yang belum memahami diagram kelistrikan pada kendaraan. Penulis mencoba untuk melakukan implementasi software proteus melalui metode pembelajaran demonstrasi, dengan software proteus peserta didik dapat lebih mudah membuat rangkaian kelistrikan, mengenal simbol-simbol yang terdapat pada sistem kelistrikan, serta dapat menggambar dan mensimulasikan diagram kelistrikan sebelum diuji pada benda nyatanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Pre-experimental design dengan jenis One Group Pretest-Posttest. Penelitian ini diterapkan pada satu kelas dengan jumlah 23 orang, yang nantinya peserta didik akan diberikan pretest untuk mengetahui kemampuan masing-masing siswa, kemudian penulis melakukan treatment untuk memberikan wawasan pada peserta didik dan kemudian peserta didik diberikan posttest yang nantinya akan menjadi tolak ukur sejauh mana peningkatan wawasan peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diberikan treatment. hasil perhitungan N-Gain siswa sebesar 0,33 yang termasuk kategori sedang. Perolehan skor rata-rata pretest sebesar 36,09 dan skor rata-rata posttest sebesar 58,26 peningkatan perolehan skor meningkat sebesar 61,4%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif dari implementasi software proteus melalui metode pembelajaran demonstrasi terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah kelistrikan bodi otomotif.;--The purpose of this study is to determine whether or not the application of proteus software is suitable in automotive body electrical subjects, based on the existence of problems in the acquisition of grades in automotive body electrical subjects in automotive concentration students of mechanical engineering education FPTK UPI 2016, the average acquisition value in the lecture 5.7 which is still far from KKM standard which is 7.5. The factor of the lack of value acquisition includes many students who have not yet understood the electrical diagram in the vehicle.. The author tries to implement proteus software through demonstration learning methods, with proteus software students can more easily make electrical circuits, recognize the symbols contained in the electrical system, and can draw and simulate electrical diagrams before being tested on real objects. This study uses a Pre-experimental design research design with the type of One Group Pretest-Posttest. This research is applied in one class with 23 student, in which students will be given a pretest to find out the ability of each student, then the writer conducts treatment to provide insight to the students and then the students are given a posttest which will be the benchmark to what extent improvement of students' insights before and after treatment. the N-Gain calculation results of students amounted to 0.33 which belongs to the medium category. The average score of the pretest score was 36.09 and the average posttest score was 58.26, the increase in the score gained was 61.4%. It can be concluded that there is a positive effect of the implementation of proteus software through demonstration learning methods on student learning outcomes in automotive body electrical subject.
