Abstract

Kota Banda Aceh dinobatkan sebagai salah satu kota layak pemuda pada tahun 2017, namun kota tersebut belum memiliki wadah interaksi dan pengembangan bakat pemuda yang terpusat. Untuk mewujudkan kota layak pemuda dengan maksimal, Kota Banda Aceh harus memiliki youth center, yaitu salah satu fasilitas kepemudaan yang memiliki berbagai sarana dan prasarana di dalamnya. Youth center dirancang menggunakan tema dinamis yang disesuaikan dengan karakter pemuda yaitu penuh semangat dan terus bergerak. Tema dinamis diterapkan dalam desain melalui konsep tampilan bangunan (warna dan tekstur), gubahan masa, dan tata ruang luar. Penggunaan tema dinamis diharapkan dapat memikat dan menarik pemuda untuk mengembangkan bakat sesuai dengan ketertarikan dan melakukan berbagai kegiatan positif lainnya. Youth center Kota Banda Aceh dengan tema dinamis diharapkan dapat menjadi wadah pembentukan karakter, pembentukan kapasitas, dan peningkatan daya saing pemuda sehingga dapat mendukung kesuksesan pembangunan daerah dengan maksimal sesuai dengan Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Daerah (RPJMD) Kota Banda Aceh tahun 2017-2025. ;--Banda Aceh City has been titled as one of the decent city of youth in 2017, however this city has not had centralized facilities for youth interaction and youth talent development. To maximize the title of the decent city of youth, Banda Aceh City needs to have a youth center as a youth facility that has various youth infrastructures in it. The youth center is designed by using a dynamic theme that is adjusted to the character of youth which is full of enthusiasm and spirit. The dynamic theme that is applied in the design appear through the concept of building façade (color and texture), building shape, and landscape. The use of the dynamic theme is expected to be able to attract youth to develop talents according to their interests and doing other various positive activities. Youth Center of Banda Aceh City with the dynamic theme is expected to be a facility of character building, capacity building, and improvement of youth competitiveness so that it can support the success of regional development maximally following The Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) Banda Aceh City of 2017-2025.
