Abstract

Pembelajaran sejarah yang menarik adalah pembelajaran sejarah yang mengaitkan meteri pembelajaran dengan lingkungan di sekitarnya. Materi pembelajaran sejarah yang berkaitan dengan lingkungan disebut juga dengan materi sejarah lokal atau pembelajaran sejarah lokal. Dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah masih banyak guru yang belum menerapkan pembelajaran sejarah lokal, sehingga siswa lebih mengetahui pembelajaran sejarah yang ada di daerah lain daripada daerahnya sendiri. Kurangnya pemahaman tentang sejarah lokal sehingga berdampak juga terhadap hasil belajar dan kesadaran sejarah siswa, kesadaran sejarah muncul apabila siswa memahami tentang sejarah itu sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran sejarah lokal Peristiwa Situjuh 15 Januari 1949 terhadap hasil belajar dan kesadaran sejarah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan populasi siswa SMA Kelas XI di SMAN 1 Kecamatan Situjuah Limo Nagari, sedangkan penarikan sampel dengan menggunakan simple rondom sampling yaitu siswa kelas XI IPS 1, XI IPS 2, XI IPS 3, XI IPS 5. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran sejarah lokal Peristiwa Situjuh 15 Januari 1949 terhadap hasil belajar 2) terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran sejarah lokal Peristiwa Situjuh 15 Januari 1949 terhadap kesadaran sejarah 3) terdapat perbedaan pengaruh pembelajaran sejarah lokal Peristiwa Situjuh 15 Januari 1949 dan pembelajaran model konvensional terhadap hasil belajar 4) terdapat perbedaan pengaruh pembelajaran sejarah lokal Peristiwa Situjuh 15 Januari 1949 dan pembelajaran model konvensional terhadap kesadaran sejarah. Enjoyable historical learning is learning the history that links the learning material with the surrounding environment. Historical learning material related to the environment is also called local history material or local history learning. In the process of learning history in schools, there are still many teachers who have not applied local history learning, so students are more aware of historical learning in other areas than in their area. Lack of understanding of local history, so that it also affects the awareness of history and student learning outcomes, because historical awareness arises when students understand about history itself. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of local history learning on Peristiwa Situjuh 15 Januari 1949, on learning outcomes and historical awareness. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a population of class XI high school students at SMAN 1 Situjuah Limo Nagari, while sampling using simple random sampling is students of class XI IPS 1, XI IPS 2, XI IPS 3, XI IPS. The results of the study showed that 1) there is the effect of learning the local history Peristiwa Situjuh 15 Januari 1949, towards learning outcomes. 2) There is the effect of local history learning on Peristiwa Situjuh 15 Januari 1949 towards historical awareness. 3) there are differences in the effect of learning local history of Peristiwa Situjuh 15 Januari 1949 and learning using conventional model towards learning outcomes. 4) there are differences in the effect of learning local history of Peristiwa Situjuh 15 Januari 1949 and learning using conventional model towards historical awareness.
