Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui relevansi antara soft skills siswa Konstruksi Gedung Sanitasi dan Perawatan SMKN 5 Bandung terhadap tuntutan dunia usaha dan industri. Aspek – aspek soft skills yang diteliti diantaranya komunikatif, kemampuan memecahkan masalah, kerja sama tim, etos kerja, tanggungjawab, disiplin, manajemen waktu, sopan santun/ etika, kemauan untuk belajar, inovatif, sikap terbuka. Hasil penelitian menemukan urutan soft skills yang terbentuk pada siswa di sekolah (1) sopan santun, (2) disiplin, (3) manajemen waktu, (4) tanggungjawab, (5) komunikatif, (6) inovatif, (7) etos kerja, (8) sikap terbuka, (9) kemauan untuk belajar, (10) kemampuan memecahkan masalah, (11) kerja sama tim. Hasil penelitian di perusahaan menemukan bahwa urutan aspek soft skills yang dibutuhkan/diutamakan oleh dunia usaha dan industri yaitu; (1) tanggung jawab, (2) sikap terbuka, (3) manajemen waktu, (4) disiplin, (5) komunikatif, (6) etos kerja, (7) kerja sama tim, (8) sopan santun, (9) kemauan untuk belajar, (10) inovatif dan (11) kemampuan memecahkan. Relevansi soft skills yang terbentuk dari pembelajaran di sekolah dengan soft skills yang dibutuhkan oleh dunia usaha dan industri ada 5 aspek yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat relevan yaitu manajemen waktu, komunikatif, kemauan untuk belajar, etos kerja, dan kemampuan memecahkan masalah. Dua apek termasuk dalam kategori tidak relevan yaitu Sikap terbuka dan Sopan santun Kata kunci—Soft Skills, Dunia usaha dan industri, pembelajaran di SMK ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the relevance of the soft skills of students of Sanitation Building Maintenance and Vocational School 5 Bandung to the demands of the business and industrial world. The aspects of soft skills studied were communicative, problem-solving ability, teamwork, work ethic, responsibility, discipline, time management, manners / ethics, willingness to learn, innovative, open attitude. The results found a sequence of soft skills formed in students at school (1) manners, (2) discipline, (3) time management, (4) responsibility, (5) communicative, (6) innovative, (7) work ethic, (8) open attitude, (9) willingness to learn, (10) ability to solve problems, (11) teamwork. The results of research in the company found that the order of aspects of soft skills needed / prioritized by the business world and industry, namely; (1) responsibility, (2) open attitude, (3) time management, (4) discipline, (5) communicative, (6) work ethic, (7) teamwork, (8) courtesy, (9) willingness to learn, (10) innovative and (11) ability to solve. The relevance of soft skills that is formed from learning in schools with soft skills needed by the business world and industry there are 5 aspects that are included in the category of very relevant namely time management, communicative, willingness to learn, work ethic, and problem-solving ability. Two aspects are included in the irrelevant category, namely Open Attitude and Manners Keywords — Soft Skills, Business and industry, learning at SMK
