Abstract

Masa persiapan pensiun merupakan peristiwa kehidupan yang urgen sebagai
proses transisi utama dalam kehidupan yang sering menyebabkan ketidaksesuaian
psikologis dan bahaya kesehatan mental. Penelitian bertujuan menguji efektivitas
konseling kelompok realitas untuk meningkatkan penyesuaian diri PNS
prapensiun di Kantor Walikota Bandung. Penelitian mengunakan metode
eksperimen kuasi dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Dari 34
orang Pegawai Negeri Sipil yang akan memasuki masa pensiun,sampel penelitian
sebanyak 10 orang PNS prapensiun di Kantor Walikota Bandung tahun
2018/2019 melalui teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian konseling
kelompok realitas efektif untuk meningkatkan penyesuaian diri PNS prapensiun.
Peneliti selanjutnya dapat mengembangkan strategi konseling kelompok realitas
untuk mengembangkan aspek psikologis lainnya tidak terbatas hanya pada
penyesuaian diri saja.;--- The period of retirement preparation is an urgent life event as a major
transitional process in life that often causes psychological inappropriateness and
mental health hazards. The study aims to test the effectiveness of reality group
counseling to improve self-adjustment. The study used quasi-experimental method
with pretest-posttest control group design. Of the 34 civil servants who will enter
retirement, the research sample of 10 pre-retired civil servants in Bandung
Mayor's Office 2018/2019 through purposive sampling technique. The results of
the research of the reality group counseling significantly influence to improve the
pre-retirement of pre-retired civil servants. Reality group counseling can be
implemented and integrated in harmony with existing pension plans in Bandung
Mayor's Office to improve the pre-retirement of civil servants. Subsequent
research to develop a comprehensive review of self-adjustment and counseling of
reality groups based on the findings of this study.
