Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya partisipasi siswa karena memilih-milih materi pembelajaran yang mereka sukai atau mereka kuasai saja dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan jasmani pada kelas VII di SMPN 3 Lembang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menguji seberapa besar pengaruh Pendekatan Bermain terhadap partisipasi belajar Penjas siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan instrumen penelitian berupa angket partisipasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lapangan olahraga SMP Negeri 3 Lembang. Adapun subjek penelitian yang diambil adalah siswa kelas VII yang berjumlah 62 orang yang terdiri dari tiga puluh satu orang pada kelompok eksperimen dan tiga puluh satu orang pada kelompok kontrol. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan “Pretest-Posttest Control group design”. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa Pendekatan Bermain memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap partisipasi belajar penjas siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan bermain dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran penjas.;---This study was lifted by the lack of student participation to decide their favorite or known subject course in physical education class VII SMPN 3 Lembang. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of game approach to physical education learning participation. Method that used in this study was experiment with the questionnaire participation instrument. This study was take place on sport court of SMPN 3 Lembang. As for the subjects are 62 student of class VII consist with 31 students on the experiment group and 31 students on the control group. This study used “Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design”. Based on the result that the given game approach significanly have effect to student participation in physical education. Based on this study and result of the data anylisis, the conclusion is game approach can be one of alternatif method for increasing participation learning in physical education.
