Abstract

ABSTRAK Implementasi Outdoor Learning Siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Bandung di Museum Pendidikan Nasional UPI Oleh: Fadilah Mauladi (1407180), Erlina Wiyanarti, Muhamad Iqbal Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi outdoor learning siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Bandung di Museum Pendidikan Nasional UPI. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah guru, siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Bandung, Manajer Operasional dan Konservator Museum Pendidikan Nasional UPI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari Penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode outdoor learning merupakan pembelajaran aktif yang dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif karena memiliki 5 konsep yang berbeda dari pembelajaran dikelas diantaranya konsep proses belajar, konsep aktivitas luar kelas, konsep lingkungan, konsep eksperimentasi, dan konsep kekeluargaan sehingga memberikan pengalaman belajar baru bagi siswa dalam pelajaran IPS, (2) Pemanfaatan sumber belajar Museum Pendidikan Nasional UPI dengan menggunakan metode outdoor learning memberikan suatu pembelajaran dengan menentukan sumber belajar museum dengan konsep outdoor learning sehingga memberikan pembelajaran IPS yang komprehensif, (3) Sebagai Sumber belajar Museum Pendidikan Nasional UPI sudah baik dalam memberikan kontribusinya, benda-benda koleksi, tulisan, dan informasi yang terdapat memiliki nilai ilmiah, budaya, historis, dan estetika, serta telah menjalankan tugasnya dalam hal pemeliharaan dan konservasi, selanjutnya concern dalam bidang penelitian dan pendidikan, dan sebagai sarana rekreasi yang edukatif bernilai positif dan menyenangkan untuk siswa (edutainment). The objectives of this research were teachers, students of Muhammadiyah 6 Middle School in Bandung, Operations Manager and Conservator of the UPI National Education Museum. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive study methods. Data collection is done by observation, interview, and documentation study. The results of this study are: (1) Learning using the outdoor learning method is active learning that can be used as an alternative because it has different concepts from learning in class and provides new learning experiences for students in social studies, (2) Use of learning resources The UPI National Education Museum using the outdoor learning method provides learning by determining museum learning resources with the concept of outdoor learning so as to provide comprehensive IPS learning, (3) As a learning resource the UPI National Education Museum is good at contributing collections, writing, and information contained has scientific, cultural, historical, and aesthetic value, and has carried out its duties in terms of maintenance and conservation, then concerned in the research and education major, and as an educative means of recreation that is positive and fun for students (edutainment).
