Abstract

The Jhon’s Cianjur Aquatic Resort merupakan salah satu tempat wisata olahraga air. Kini, tengah menghadapi masalah yaitu adanya penurunan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh ketidakpuasan dan ketidaksenangan wisatawan dalam menikmati aktifitas olahraga. Karena itu, diperlukan suatu strategi dalam rangka menaikan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan melalui self-expressiveness. Variabel independen (X) yang digunakan yaitu self-expressiveness terdiri dari perceived difficulty, perceived effort, perceived importance dan perceived self-realization potential. Variabel dependen (Y) yaitu personal happiness. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan metode exploratory survey dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 100 responden. Teknik penarikan sampel yaitu simple random sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara self-expressiveness dan personal happiness. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara self-expressiveness dan personal happiness. Self-expressiveness berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Penilaian dimensi perceived difficulty mendapat nilai tertinggi karena aktifitas olahraga telah memberikan perasaan sulit bagi wisatawan, sedangkan dimensi perceived effort mendapat nilai terendah karena aktifitas olahraga belum membuat wisatawan merasa harus mengeluarkan usaha yang lebih dalam menikmatinya. Rekomendasi penelitian adalah memperbaiki aktifitas yang telah ada dan penambahan fasilitas restoran di tengah kolam renang. Hal ini akan membuat wisatawan merasa senang berlama-lama beraktifitas di The Jhon’s Cianjur Aquatic Resort. ;--- The Jhon’s Cianjur Aquatic Resort is one of the watersport tourism destinations. Nowadays, it’s faced the problem are the declining in the number of tourists. It’s caused by the dissatisfaction and miss happiness of the tourist in participating in sports activities. Therefore, need a strategy for increasing the number of tourist through self-expressiveness. The independent variable (X) used is the self-expressiveness consisting of perceived difficulty, perceived effort, perceived importance, and perceived self-realization potential. The dependent variable (Y) is personal happiness. The type of research used is descriptive and verificative with exploratory survey method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study is 100 respondents with simple random sampling as the sampling technique. The data analysis technique is using a multiple regression linear. The results show a significant effect of self-expressiveness on personal happiness. self-expressiveness is in the very high category. The assessment of perceived difficulty dimension has the highest rating because sports activities give difficulty for tourist. While the perceived effort dimension has the lowest rating because sports activities don’t make tourist must spend much effort to participated yet. Research recommendation is renovating an activity and adding restaurant facilities in the middle of the water boom. It will increase tourist’ personal happiness to stay long to participate in sports activities at The Jhon’s Cianjur Aquatic Resort.
